Hi, everyone! Since it's #TBT Thursday, I’m back in this awesome community to reminisce about the time Pawel, Olivia, and I went to the beautiful city of Krakow in Poland a few days ago. Even though it wasn’t part of our plans, we had some delicious tacos and a tasty dessert, and we had a great time walking around and, of course, watching Olivia play in the park—because when you’re a parent, trips to the park are a must.
Ahora bien, lo primero que hicimos allí fue pensar donde comer, así que para eso paramos un rato en el parque que nos quedaba en el camino para que Olivia se divirtiera y nosotros poder pensar y aunque al final no estabamos seguros todavía, decidimos ir a comer un postre para que nos diera energía y finalmente decidir, pero cerca de la pastelería vimos una taquería con varios clientes que nos llamó la atención así que decidímos probar los tacos allí y fue la mejor decisión y es que no dejamos absolutamente nada en nuestras cajas de comida porque todo estaba delicioso.
Anyway, the first thing we did there was think about where to eat, so we stopped for a while at the park along the way so Olivia could have some fun and we could figure it out. Even though we still weren’t sure in the end, we decided to grab a dessert to give us some energy and finally make up our minds, but near the bakery we saw a taco stand with several customers that caught our eye, so we decided to try the tacos there—and it was the best decision we could have made. We didn’t leave a single bite in our takeout boxes because everything was delicious.
Comimos y Olivia siguió jugando un rato más en el parque mientras mi esposo y yo hacíamos planes para el Pol'and'Rock Festival al cual íbamos a ir pronto, y al que ahora también me gustaría volver jajaja, pero toca esperar un año. Más tarde comenzó a lloviznar así que decidímos regresar, lo bueno es que cargabamos nuestras chaquetas impermeables que por cierto habíamos comprado para el festival ya que estabamos seguros que llovería allí y así fue jajaja, este momento se sintió genial porque estabamos juntos preparados para la lluvia y Olivia estaba feliz estrenando su nueva chaqueta que por cierto combinaba con sus hermosos ojos azules.
We ate, and Olivia kept playing in the park for a little while longer while my husband and I made plans for the Pol'and'Rock Festival, which we were going to attend soon—and which I’d love to go back to now, hahaha—but we’ll have to wait a year. Later, it started to drizzle, so we decided to head back. The good thing was that we had our rain jackets with us—which, by the way, we’d bought for the festival since we were sure it would rain there, and it did, hahaha. That moment felt great because we were all prepared for the rain, and Olivia was happy to wear her new jacket for the first time—which, by the way, matched her beautiful blue eyes.
Gracias a esas chaquetas no nos mojamos mucho, por lo que se las recomiendo y como ven en este post aunque no hicimos gran cosa ni tardamos mucho tiempo en la ciudad de Cracovia pues solo comimos rápido y jugamos un rato en el parque, la verdad es que la pasamos muy bien allí y es que a veces las pequeñas cosas nos hacen sentir increíble si estamos rodeados de las personas que amamos, así que me encantan estas fotos y ese corto momento que vivímos allí y claro que quería compartirlo con ustedes.
Thanks to those jackets, we didn’t get very wet, so I highly recommend them. And as you can see in this post, even though we didn’t do much or spend much time in Krakow—we just had a quick meal and played for a while in the park—the truth is that we had a great time there. Sometimes the little things make us feel amazing when we’re surrounded by the people we love, so I love these photos and that brief moment we experienced there, and of course I wanted to share it with you.
