Last time we went to see Volk again. Only to find out that he betrayed Coen to Brencis soldiers. He claimed that he did this for money. But I believe that he simply wanted to die like a warrior. Either way we killed him. So I guess that means that we will not get any more stories about the past. After that we found one of Brencis general's challenge to duel. Also one of that general's vassals send us an invitation to come speak with him. This vassal wanted to use Coen's duel with Ambrus as a chance to poison and kill Ambrus. But we decided that we wanted to beat Ambrus in a fair fight. We went to face Ambrus. He brought some soldiers but they did not get involved in our fight. Ambrus believed himself to be the best swordsman but we slew him anyway. After that both Coen and Ambrus visited a hellish place that would had consumed Ambrus remains. So he begged Coen to invite part of his soul to travel with him. We felt pity for our defeated foe and granted his wish. Then we got accepted by into the rebels. After that we got a weird letter and made new friends-Ocha(a horned creature) and her friend Nara. They wanted Coen's help to brainwash a local crime lord. But that plan seemed too simple so instead we killed crime lord and his all thugs. After that Ocha admitted that she and Nara hoped to take over crime lord's territory and business.
This time we met with vampiress Lacra again. We went into horned creatures village to ask their elder where is the vampire who sired Brencis(our main enemy). Other horned creatures were ready to fight us but the elder calmed them down. It turns out that this elder was the mother of Ocha who we helped in previous part. So the elder was friendly and gave Coen and Lacra the information about Isbrand(Brencis sire). Isbrand was being kept in some caves nearby.
After that we went to those caves with Lacra. She told us that Brencis turned her into vampiress just like he turned Coen. So his sire Isbrand in a way is like a grandfather to both of us. After that we spent some time looking for vampire Isbrand but only finding an army of angry kobolds. Some of them were a bit similar to us(vampires)- they were also corrupted. After we slew enough of kobolds they tried negotiating with us. They offered to show us where we can find Isbrand. We agreed. After a while we found Isbrand. He was neither fully alive nor dead. Chained to a rock. And corrupted kobolds kept eating him and he kept regenerating only to be eaten again. For two years already. After that we defeated remaining kobolds(both corrupted and normal). After we freed Isbrand and took him one of the Lacra's hideouts. Lacra said that our ,,grandfater'' should be able to regenerate but it would take time. So Lacra told us to return after a day or two.
Then we met Farkas- a favorite jester/ servent of a second Brencis general Bakir. He convinced us that our best chance to slay Bakir would be by winning some tournament. And for his help Farkas asked us to find and give him his family heirloom- a ring. He said that with this ring he could reclaim his family's wealth. We agreed to take part in the tournaent but then Farkas had to take our awesome armor and sword and replace them with quite bad items. He also told Coen not to use his vampyric powers during the tournament. And to were a vermin's mask- otherwise his identity would be found out.
After that spoke with other participants and tried to convince them to help us slay the Bakir. Then Bakir started yapping about how he will reward the winner of the tournament(the one who will find and bring back some coin). After that the jester(Farkas) announced tournament's start.
Then we beat remaining participants and some monsters and found the coin. Then we spoke with Bakir and asked for our reward. Also Farkas returned our armor and sword. After that Bakir took us to his treasury and offered us to take any one item we like. We took of Coen's mask and told Bakir that will take his heart(and then probably loot everything from the treasury). Then we faced Bakir in battle and slew him. Now Brencis has only one general remaining. Then we found a ring Farkas wanted. But it was not a heirloom. No. It was a migical ring. We questioned why Farkas really wanted it. He then revealed the truth(?)- Bakir had killed entire Farkas family except him and his brother. Bakir made Farkas his jester and broke his brother both physically and mentally. So Farkas wanted this ring to save/ cure his brother. We decided to give it to him. Also we already slew two of generals and still have about 19 days and nights left. So I really don't understand people who mod this game to increase time limit-from what I have seen so far defeating Brencis and all his minions and saving our family is quite easy even within 30 days and nights given by base game.
