This time I decided to take a day of from making let's play posts and instead write some gaming recommendations for you all. Those are my favorite/ best games I have played since my childhood till now. So some of those recommended games will be nearly as old as me. While a few are recent releases that came just this year. Also for many of those games I will just write text without any screenshot because I played them a while ago and no longer have them in my pc. All of the games on this list is are awesome and none of them ranked(except for Witcher 3 which my favorite game of all time).
Honorable mentions/ very promising games I still have not finished playing.
Baldur's gate 3.
This game seems like a spiritual successor to Dragon age origins. So far it has great story, interesting world, and many fascinating companions. In the begining of the game we got captured and infected by parasites that eventualy may turn us to monsters. So we need to find the cure for our condition. Who knows we may acidenrically also save the world/ or destroy it. That would be fun as well.
Zero parades for dead spies.
This game is closest to being similar to Disco Elysium but with a bit less charm. This time we are not solving a murder mystery but instead getting involved in the web of espionage and spy games. Main character know as Cascade has to get back to working us a spy. So far I have played around this game for about twelve hours. And I still have no idea who can I trust and who is just plotting some schemes and trying to lure us into a deadly trap.
The Blood of Dawnwalker
This game is the newest creation of of some of the people who worked on Witcher 3 in the past. It seems that in order to slay a vampire you need to become vampire as well. I love a lot of things about this game. Having just thirty days and nights to save our family, characters, villains...I even grow to enjoy combat at least on the easy difficulty(on higher difficulty I am not able to play this game at all). But from what I noticed so far/ and read only the games romance is a bit lacking or underdeveloped. I would like having a few more quests and and some more romance cutscenes. But despite this one flaw so far the game is great.
Gaming gems and masterpieces that I played in the past.
Witcher 3
For me this is still the pinnacle of gaming. Even about a decade after being released. If Witcher 2 was a big jump from Witcher 1 than Witcher 3 is like traveling to the moon. I love basiclly everything about this game. Yen is my favorite romance option in all of gaming, Geralt is one of the best main characters ever created. Many side quests are good enough that other games would have them as paid dlc...The actual expansions are as good as the base game or even better. The world feels alive and is stunning(even before the remaster version that will come in about a week) and were are many meaningful choices to be made. If I really had to be picky and try to find on bad thing about Witcher games is that only a few of your choices transfer to the next games. Your choices makes a lot of difference in the game you are playing. But only a few of those choices carry onto a sequel. If the creators could fix this flaw in Witcher 4/ next expansion that would be really perfect.
Witcher 2
This sequel was a huge jump in quality from the first game. Not just in graphics. The writing, side quests and the characters were greatly improved as well. Also it has one of the biggest choices I have seen in gaming-it completly changes chapter 2 location and quests and some of the quests in chapter 3. So to fully expierence both paths you need to play the game at least twice.
Witcher 1
I loved the Witcher books long before I started playing these games. So my love for those stories and characters quicly transfered to games as well. Some people dislike combat or says that this game has badly aged. I completely disagree with those statements. For me the game still looks good and combat is not very important to me. This game does so many things like choices, characters and atmosphere (I still remember some bandits saying ,,your mama sucks a dwarf cock'') so well that I don't care about it's combat at all. Also in some ways the game was really ahead of it's time. NPC hide from the rain, has day and night cycles.
Dragon age origins
This game is really unique because it has a few different origin stories that all have various connections to the main game. The replayability of this game is just insane. Also I think that this game has some clear inspiration from Lord of the rings. The world of this game is full of awesome characters and plot twists. Also I liked my character having a lot of skills, abilities and spells. In each future dragon age game creators kept lowering those options.
Mass effect 2
ME2 is definitely my favorite Mass effect. Gathering the most badass team and saving the galaxy was really cool. I normally prefer fantasy games to sience fiction but I really enjoyed my yourney as Commander Shepard. You can play this game multiple ways. Depending on your choices you can be a noble paragon/hero or a ruthless renegade. Your companions can die, you can doom entire species of aliens if you want to. And ME2 has one of the best final missions in any game.
Disco elysium the final cut
In many of those games you are hero who is trying to the world or the galaxy. In Disco Elysium you wake up in a really messy room. So drunk that you have no idea where you are, who you are or what you are supposed to do. So that is already unlike anything else I have played. And it only gets better and better. The city is full of mysteries and unforgettable characters. I grew to really like some characters I hated at first. Some people keeps lying to you. Some want to use you as a pawn. Sometimes by failing a check you get awesome dialogues. Like telling ,,I want to have fuck with you'' to a woman you just met a few minutes ago. So the game can be really hilarious. Also it has insane amount of text. According to google AI: This is roughly equivalent to 10 to 12 novels, or about double the length of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Also I got this game on sale for like 4 eur so that was the best 4 eur I have ever spent. Disco Elysium is a true work of art.

Those two games are like roller coaster. Their main characters start at the bottom while having nothing. Later they gain power, respect and wealth only to lose it all. In the beginning they are just ordinary people who are barely making ends meat. But at least then they did not have to hide from their own shadows, unsure who will betray them.
