The rules to make this different from my original let's play of Wither 3: 1. I will try to roleplay as Geralt and make choices I believe he would make. 2 I will try using photo mode more.
Last time I met with scholar who wanted to write about war. He also wanted to play Gwent. Then I beat up some bandits and spoke with a dwarf smith. Some arsonist burned down his forge and now the smith asked me to find and bring the criminal to justice. I found the arsonist and smith turned him in and arsonist was hanged. Then some nice old woman asked me to break into house and find her...pan. After that I talked to nilfgaardian garrison commander. He did not want to give me information about Yen for free. Instead he asked me to hunt the griffin for him. So I agreed. First I traveled to see the herbalist. She had a dying patient who was attacked by the griffin. I gave herbalist a witcher potion - Swallow and hoped that it will cure her patient. Then I talked with the hunter who found soldiers killed by griffin. After talking with him I learned that hunter was driven from a village because he was gay. Then I investigated the place where soldiers died. I found that soldiers killed a female griffin and now male griffin is killing people in revenge.
This time I found wraith that was hunting near the well. In order to defeat it I had to find an object that was tying wraith with the living world. In one of the houses I found a journal of a woman who lived there. It said that her lover gifted her a very precious bracelet. After that we saw that this woman was killed and her body was hanging in the well. I took it out and then jumped into the well. In the bottom I found the bracelet and swam back to top. I burned both the dead woman's body and her bracelet. After that the wraith appeared. It was no longer tied to the living world but I still had to beat it. Then I took wraith's trophy to the peasant who wanted the wraith gone. He gave me a reward.
After that I met another peasant who asked me to go with him and his dog to look for his brother in the battlefield. Battlefield was full of corpses that atracted some ghouls. We defeated them all and then dog found the sent of his original owner(brother of quest giver). We found him together with a nilfgaardian deserter. It turns out that this nilfgaardian soldier saved the quests giver's brother's life. I convinced the brothers to take the deserter in.
Then I found some person with a bow. He said that his cart was attacked by monsters and he lost some box. I agreed to look for this box. I found it quite easily. But I also learned that the man with the bow was the one who attacked the cart. Then the fool tried to trick me by saying that someone is behind me. As a witcher with supernatural senses I could tell that he was lying. After that this idiot tried to escape by riding away on a horse. I caught him and I struck him down from the a horse. After waking up this person finally told the truth. He is temerian soldier. He attacked the cart because it was carrying the box with medicine. I try to stay neutral. But nilfgaardians were the one who attacked other kingdoms and started this war mess. So I decided to give a temerian soldier the medicine and let him go free.
After that I returned to speak with my mentor Vesemir. Then we went to prepare bait for the griffin. He soon appeared and attacked us. After a first skirmish griffin flew away. But he did not flew too far away just close to a mill nearby. I am Vesemir chased after him and slew griffin. So we won the battle of the Mill. I feel sorry for the griffin. In my eyes he was not the one in the wrong in this situation. But I could not get information about Yen without killing the griffin. And in the end of the day I am doing what is necessary to find and protect those I care about.
