Was awake at 4:30 yesterday morning then headed to the group ride at 5:30. Was right dark still on the way down.

The 6 of us headed out and I was keeping up okay for much of the ride as we got a pretty cool sunrise.

But then I got my ass WORKED on the climb up Midway. After my ride to the Spokane River on Thursday I was pretty well cooked for the faster ride of the group. I managed to make it back to my car with them though.

I got home in time to get the boys to school then once home got my post up for the day. I then spent much of the morning trying to recover as I was so sore and worked. I AM now over 2000 miles ridden this year with less than 500 to my goal.
My afternoon was spent on misc stuff around the house. Got some of the stuff on the deck cleared off, gathered tools for today for the trail work I will be helping one paragliding club do on Eagle Mtn in Chewelah, got my wing ready, and then tried to keep resting some.
I went and checked on a pair of the massive barn spiders and damn they are huge. This one is well over an inch across and the web is still standing strong.

The other one is nearly as big and is all black. It had a bug wrapped up and it was either injecting it with venom or sucking out the juices post venom.

Picked J up after practice after a quick stop at the store. Got dinner made and kept trying to recoup and massage out the soreness.

Today I am going to hopefully get a flight in finally after we get a bunch of trail work and launch site work done on Eagle Mtn.
