Was out in the greenhouse yesterday morning and picked some of the last cucumbers along with some nice peppers and more tomatoes. Rolled the side down to keep heat in for last night which got to 33F.
Before noon we all headed north to Chewelah for the Fall Fest on main street where I picked up my season pass for 49N. That's Quartzite mtn in the background where I have flown my paraglider from a couple times.
There are old lift chairs from 49N on the corners of the streets and each is labeled with the chair number and the name of the lift line they were on.
R did a habanero pepper challenge at the Cocina Mar booth. They gave him a 1/4 of a pepper and he chewed it a few times then swallowed it. He managed the heat amazingly well. They gave him a couple tacos for it. The rest of us got tacos but bought them as we are weenies with heat.
We wandered a bit and I got a pan of sourdough cinnamon rolls from Moriah's. STUPID GOOD AND TASTY!
On our way home we stopped at the distillery in Loon Lake as we needed to re-up on some of their amazing liquor.
They make some outstanding bourbons. I got a 121 straight bourbon and we got a bottle of the huckleberry.
This was cool to see and I had to get a pic of it.
Before dinner @stryeyz and I went up to Backroads for drinks.
Cold this morning and I have the heater turned back on in the house. Will watch the Seahawks game this morning and try to get some work done around the property today. Also need to go pick the apples now that it has gotten cold for a night.
