I watched the slaughtering of Man Utd yesterday morning as they lost horribly to Chelsea. Lol, they are 4th last in the league and will very likely get relegated this year. They are doing it to themselves every game and deserve to go this year.
I went to Deer Park for the exhaust gaskets to fix my truck. I had to go to both Autozone and Napa to get enough.
After letting it cool off from the drive I got it pulled up into the carport and onto the ramps to give me more room to work beneath it. I got 3 gaskets installed but one joint is welded. The bolts won't come loose on it but I don't think there is a leak there.
I started the truck and backed it off the ramps then noticed there was exhaust coming out of the wheel well... I slid under and found that the muffler has some rather large holes rusted out of it... 1 on either side. So I will have to order myself a new muffler to install. It will stop it from sounding so loud like it is right now.
@stryeyz took the boys to the Northern Quest casino for a card show where the boys got some Pokemon packs and stared in astonishment at some of the cards available and the prices.
I decided to take the truck out for a quick test drive to see how the codes would be and how it felt to be in it again. I did a circuit around Orchard Bluff then back home and it is wonderful to be back driving it again.
They got home and brought me dinner from the Asian restaurant at the casino then I remembered I need to go get grain this morning so went out and hooked the trailer up to the truck.
Garbage time change had me up at 4am this morning, I have been to town for the grain and a tote of hops which I will empty in a while. It is raining but will be gone by mid morning. I have a full week of work and appointments ahead and then R's Veteran's day concert is Friday.
