El valor de un paseo improvisado madre e hija [ESP-ENG]

Hola, querida comunidad de @motherhood, hoy quiero pasar por aquí para dejar un pedacito de felicidad que viví en estos días junto a mi hija Gabriela.

Quienes somos madres sabemos que el tiempo vuela y que a veces la rutina nos consume. Por eso cuando ocurren estos momentos especiales, se siente como un regalo para el corazón.

Generalmente, nuestras salidas juntas son para asistir a alguna actividad ya sea escolar o de sus actividades extracurriculares o a algún compartir familiar. Sin embargo, esta vez la salida era diferente, fuimos al Centro Comercial La Vela, aquí en nuestra hermosa Isla de Margarita, porque Gabriela se iba a reencontrar con una amiguita que estaba de cumpleaños. Como llegamos temprano, decidimos aprovechar el tiempo.

Nos pusimos a caminar, a conversar y a disfrutar de nuestra compañía. En medio del paseo, nos conseguimos con la zona de los Stan de fotografías del centro comercial y decidimos tomarnos unas fotos. Qué belleza de imágenes, es un retrato de pura felicidad madre e hija.

Esta salida me dejó pensando en lo bonito y necesario que es salir de paseo a solas con nuestros hijos, sin planificación tomarnos fotos bonitas no es para presumir; es para congelar el tiempo y que esos recuerdos queden grabados para la historia, recordándonos lo rápido que crecen. Gabriela y yo no salimos así muy seguido, por eso valoro esta tarde con todo mi corazón.

Hello, dear @motherhood community! Today I wanted to stop by to share a little bit of the happiness I’ve experienced these past few days with my daughter Gabriela.

Those of us who are mothers know that time flies and that, sometimes, the daily routine can feel overwhelming. That’s why, when these special moments happen, they feel like a gift to the heart.

Usually, when we go out together, it’s to attend some kind of activity—whether it’s school-related, an after-school event, or a family gathering. This time, though, our outing was different: we went to La Vela Mall, here on our beautiful island of Margarita, because Gabriela was going to meet up with a friend who was celebrating her birthday. Since we arrived early, we decided to make the most of our time.

We started walking, chatting, and enjoying each other’s company. Partway through our walk, we came across the photo booth area at the mall and decided to take some pictures. What beautiful photos—they’re a portrait of pure mother-daughter happiness.

This outing made me think about how lovely and necessary it is to go out for a walk alone with our children—without any planning. Taking beautiful photos isn’t about showing off; it’s about freezing time so those memories are preserved for posterity, reminding us just how fast they grow up. Gabriela and I don’t get out like this very often, which is why I cherish this afternoon with all my heart.
