Hello, street art fans! As usual, I’ve got a new discovery for you, and this time it’s in my own city. Continuing with the city mural project, today I’m showing you this piece by the Venezuelan artist Luis ‘Hacha’ Rodríguez
Ana soto
It pays tribute to Ana Soto, a celebrated indigenous leader of the Guayon people, who was a fierce resister against Spanish colonisation.
A piece that brings together all the key elements, such as the lines of rock art and traditional pre-Hispanic figures like those we see here, as well as the spear – the main symbol of the weapons used by the indigenous people for hunting and in battle.
Thanks to this beautiful cultural and artistic project, I’ve been learning more about my ancestors and the history of the struggle for the sovereignty of my country, Venezuela.
A mural that reflects struggle, dignity and identity.

Hola amigos de streetart como de costumbre traigo un nuevo hallazgo y está vez en mi cuidad. Continúando con el proyecto de cuidad mural, hoy les muestro este trabajo realizado por el artista venezolano Luis "Hacha" Rodríguez

Dónde le rinde homenaje a esta célebre y líder indígena de la etnia Guayon Ana Soto quien fue una feroz resistente de la colonización española.
Una obra que reúne todos los elementos principales como los trazos de arte rupestre y figuras tradicionales prehispánicas como las que allí vemos, también la lanza símbolo de principal de las armas que usaban los indígenas para cazar y también para las batallas.
Gracias a este hermoso proyecto cultural y artístico he ido conociendo más sobre mis ancestros y la historia de lucha sobre la soberanía de mi país Venezuela.
Un mural que refleja lucha, dignidad e identidad.
