I visited the garden again this morning and took some photos that I want to share today. It has become a simple routine for me, but it is still something that I always enjoy. A walk in the garden gives me a chance to breathe, observe, and notice the small changes that happen around the plants.

The flower that caught my attention today is actually purple, but because I took the photos in black and white, it appeared darker than usual. Even the leaves around it are dark green, so the whole scene became deeper and more dramatic. I think that is also the interesting part of black and white photography. It changes the way we look at something familiar.
Without the color, the flower is no longer just purple. It becomes more about shape, texture, light, and shadow. The petals look soft but also full of lines and details. The leaves surrounding it made the subject appear more hidden, almost like it was quietly blending with the garden.
Sometimes beauty does not have to appear bright to be appreciated. There are also beautiful things that are calm, dark, and quiet. We only need to look at them with more patience.
This is one of the reasons why I keep taking photos during my walks. Every visit gives me something new to notice. Even the same plant can look different depending on the light, the angle, and the mood of the day.
I am thankful that I still have these small moments to enjoy. A simple morning walk, a flower in the garden, and a few photos are enough to make the day feel meaningful.
Have a good day ahead.
