Hola Thursday💛
We're back in DD, and alas, no morning rain, so we are hoping the sky will clear up today. If not, at least the ground would rest from seeping rainwater. Most areas have grown moss due to constant wetness.
Anyhow, here's to sharing some shadow hunts at the Merlion resto a few days back. While waiting for our food, my attention was drawn to the lamp(s) above our heads. The rattan-slatted pendant lamps cast striking, radiating patterns of shadows across the ceiling.
For some reason, it felt awkward to be seen photographing the ceiling, so all these were discreetly taken while we were seated; hence the awkward angling and such😁

My attempt to get a closer shot of shadows ended with this. Not bad, I think (LOL)! The shadows are a bit faint, but visible enough to be seen by the naked eye.

Noticing I was having a bit of a hard time taking photos, the hubby brought his phone out of his pocket and helped me get a few more shots. The top image with the warm light reflections on the lift door and this one (below) were his.

His new phone's camera has obviously better shots, or maybe he is just good at taking pictures😁
And now the hard part: choosing which to send as my entry to the SMASh challenge this week. So decisions, decisions, decisions... (borrowing the phrase from Tito Ed),
Hmmm...
Okay, I'd go for the first photo (top image) as it looks warmer and shows a bit of everything—shadows, reflections, some of the place's decor, and even the raindrops outside the windows. And most of all, it was taken by my favorite person (Thank you, dahling)😆
Oh well, I guess it's not that difficult to choose after all! So here's to a fantastic day, everyone! All the best to fellow hunters out there.
All photos are my own unless specified. 27082026/07:44ph
