I really enjoy the dynamics you bring during the week. On this occasion, it makes me reflect deeply on what I am currently doing, as the prompt revolves around one's profession.
Have you ever imagined choosing a completely different profession for yourself?
Well, before answering the questions, I want you to know a bit more about me. The field I studied was Psychology. In this major, it took me many years to earn my bachelor's degree, so those were difficult days when I had to overcome various obstacles. Of course, with the support of my family and a higher power, which is great, I was able to achieve it.
However, along this journey, I had many doubts about whether what I was studying was the right path. Here, I learned that Psychology is vast, and over time, I grew passionate about Human Resources (Talent Management), as many know it.
To connect with what I studied, I manage my personal brand, where I discuss this topic on LinkedIn. Naturally, as someone who writes about it, I must study and stay updated. It is something I enjoy, both to be prepared for opportunities and to make the most of the ones I have today.
Along the way, I discovered the Platzi platform, where I have been studying marketing and everything related to blog creation. Here, I have understood many principles that have helped me create written content.
I believe the career path I chose was the correct one, and along the way, I am acquiring other tools. It's not that I would have wanted to study Marketing in the past, because I am learning it right now through Platzi.
One of the misconceptions I used to have about marketing was thinking that it was only for people who knew how to draw or design.
Well, how wrong I was back then! But I love applying my Human Resources knowledge and creating blogs. Likewise, when I write on Hive, I know I am putting into practice what I continue to learn on my own.
If you could become any professional in the world, what would you choose and why? Would you be a doctor, teacher, artist, entrepreneur, scientist, or something completely different?
The profession I studied, Psychology, was my dream profession in the past. It has allowed me to connect with people, support communities through my psychological knowledge, understand different global realities, and contribute by giving a part of myself—my time.
I also had a brief experience working at a technology company, assisting in recruitment. That was where I gained practical experience in Talent Management. Additionally, I learned within a startup through a Platzi program called Platzi Contributor.
These past experiences make me truly grateful, but right now, in the present, I focus on making the absolute most of what I am involved in to build the next opportunity that lies ahead.
What profession would allow you to best express your personality?
I really enjoyed having experience in sales, where I helped many people learn about a company. It also helped me understand the company thoroughly. I felt great because I was aligned with its mission.
For this reason, roles in Customer Service or Human Resources are spaces where I feel very comfortable, as they allow me to connect with my core strengths.
Beyond having a dream job, I would pursue personal projects that allow me to express my thoughts through writing—whether on LinkedIn or Hive. Naturally, this requires managing time and energy effectively, as both are finite resources.
Is there a professional you admire for their work? What inspires you about that person?
The people I admire are connected to sports, as I enjoyed playing football when I was younger. I also love analyzing Real Madrid matches. I like listening to players' advice because I see them as individuals who have demonstrated great perseverance.
However, along the way, I have learned that there are countless other people in the world who set great examples and have lived incredible lives. Even so, I believe not everything in a person's life consists of perfect stories, as the full story isn't always told. But well, that is how the world is.
I also deeply admire people who dedicate themselves to writing.

Me gustan las dinámicas que traen durante la semana. En esta ocasión, me hacen reflexionar mucho sobre lo que hago actualmente, ya que la dinámica trata sobre la profesión.
¿Alguna vez has imaginado elegir una profesión completamente diferente para ti?
Bueno, antes de responder a las preguntas, quiero que conozcan un poco más sobre mí. La profesión que estudié fue Psicología. En esta carrera me costó muchos años conseguir la licenciatura, así que fueron días difíciles en los que tuve que luchar con diversas dificultades. Claro, con el apoyo de mi familia y también de un poder superior, que es grandioso, lo pude lograr.
Sin embargo, durante este camino tuve muchas dudas sobre si lo que estaba estudiando era lo correcto. Bueno, aquí aprendí que la Psicología es muy extensa y, con el tiempo, me fue gustando la parte de Talento Humano, o como muchos la conocen, Recursos Humanos.
Para conectar con lo que estudié, tengo mi marca personal, donde hablo sobre este tema en LinkedIn. Y, claro, para ser una persona que escribe sobre ello, me toca estudiar y mantenerme actualizado. Es algo que me gusta, tanto para estar preparado para las oportunidades como para aprovechar al máximo las que tengo hoy en día.
En el camino he conocido la plataforma de Platzi, donde he estudiado más sobre marketing y todo lo relacionado con la creación de blogs. Aquí he comprendido muchos principios que me han ayudado a crear contenido en formato escrito.
Creo que la carrera que elegí fue la correcta y, en el camino, estoy aprendiendo otras herramientas. Digamos que no es que hubiera querido estudiar Marketing en el pasado, porque eso lo estoy haciendo actualmente con Platzi.
Uno de los conceptos que tenía sobre el marketing y que quería contarles era que pensaba que se trataba de personas que sabían dibujar o diseñar.
¡Bueno, qué equivocado estaba en aquel entonces! Pero me gusta poner en práctica mis conocimientos de Talento Humano y crear blogs. Igualmente, cuando escribo en Hive, sé que estoy poniendo en práctica lo que sigo aprendiendo por mi propia cuenta.
Si pudieras convertirte en cualquier profesional del mundo, ¿qué elegirías y por qué? ¿Serías médico, profesor, artista, emprendedor, científico o algo completamente diferente?
Bueno, pues la profesión que estudié, Psicología, sería mi profesión soñada en el pasado. Me ha permitido conectar con personas, ayudar a comunidades con mis conocimientos sobre Psicología, conocer diferentes realidades del mundo y apoyar con lo que he aprendido, dando algo de mí, que fue mi tiempo.
También tuve una breve experiencia en una empresa de tecnología, ayudando a reclutar personas. Allí aprendí sobre el área de Talento Humano. Además,estuve aprendiendo en una startup en un programa de Platzi llamado Platzi Contributor.
Bueno, fueron experiencias pasadas que me hacen estar contento, pero ahora, en el presente, trato de aprovechar al máximo aquello en lo que estoy involucrado actualmente para poder construir esa próxima oportunidad que pueda venir en el futuro.
¿Qué profesión te permitiría expresar mejor tu personalidad?
Aquí me ha gustado mucho haber tenido experiencias en el área de ventas, donde ayudé a muchas personas a conocer una empresa. También me ayudó a saber bastante sobre ella. Me sentía bien porque estaba conectado con la misión de la empresa.
Por eso, las áreas de Servicio al Cliente o Talento Humano podrían ser espacios en los que también me sentiría muy bien, ya que me permitirían conectar con mis talentos.
Además de tener un trabajo soñado, haría proyectos por mi cuenta que me permitan expresar mis pensamientos mediante escritos, ya sea en LinkedIn o en Hive. Claro, lo haría teniendo que saber manejar el tiempo y las energías, ya que, como saben, estos dos recursos no son ilimitados.
¿Hay algún profesional al que admires por su trabajo? ¿Qué te inspira de esa persona?
Bueno, las personas que admiro están relacionadas con el deporte, porque me gustaba practicar fútbol cuando era pequeño. También me gusta analizar los partidos del Real Madrid. Me gusta escuchar los consejos de los jugadores, pues en ocasiones los veo como personas que han demostrado perseverancia.
Sin embargo, en el camino he aprendido que hay muchas más personas en el mundo que son buenos ejemplos y que han tenido una vida increíble. Aun así, pienso que no todo en la vida de una persona son buenas historias, ya que, en ocasiones, no se cuenta toda la historia. Pero bueno, el mundo es así.
También admiro a las personas que se dedican a escribir.
