Hello, Full Deportes community! Today, I'm back with another reflection about the gym.
Well, after thinking about it, I believe that if I start running instead of going to the gym, it could be just as good for me, because I think running can also give me that feeling of relaxation I experience after exercising. And, well, I'm still staying in shape; at least, I'm happy with myself.
I think the difference is that, although running isn't something new to me, it would be a routine I'd have to start following here in Panama. I even think it could be more fun because, if I go outside, I'll get to see many places around Panama. It would be enjoyable and good for my health.
In the past, running was very difficult for me. I think that if I start running again, building this habit will also be challenging. I'd have to take it slowly to get used to a new routine. I remember running when I played soccer on a grass field. Well, back then, I was exercising too, but of course, nowadays, I enjoy working out at the gym.
Now, I think it would be a great achievement if I managed to establish a good running routine. I could look into whether there are any marathons I could participate in and experience a new adventure.
For now, I'm still going to the gym, but I think I'll soon switch the gym for running. And I think it will be just as great!
I think I've already made a lot of progress at the gym, but I'm the kind of person who tries to enjoy what I do without becoming too obsessed with results. I like spending an hour at the gym, although nowadays, on rare occasions, I work out for about an hour and a half.
But, reflecting on this, I realize that I enjoy staying active, mainly for my health and for myself. I think the same thing can apply to running: I'll get the same benefits if I do it properly and build a habit.
I know that when I start running, I need to celebrate every small victory because it might be difficult for me at first. However, if I keep a positive mindset and believe that everything will be okay, that I'll be able to incorporate running into my daily routine, and that I can make a change in myself, it will be something that helps me grow as a person and keep moving forward toward my goals.
Well, thank you so much for reading my reflection. See you very soon in another post on Full Deportes!
