Hey, internet folks! How are you? I'm so excited because Ariana Grande's long-awaited new album, "petal," is finally out, and today I want to share my thoughts with you.
Holis, amigos de internet! Como están? Les cuento que estoy muy contenta porque finalmente salió el tan esperado nuevo álbum de Ariana Grande llamado "petal" y hoy quiero compartir mi opinión con ustedes.
As a longtime Ariana fan, I get excited and eagerly anticipate every new album she announces, and after such a great album as "Eternal Sunshine," I really had high expectations. Her first single, "hate that I made you love me," while not the comeback of the year, and despite having a darker tone and more mature vocals, I found it quite fresh with a subtle and beautiful melody. I was struck by the lower registers Ariana uses, contrary to what we're used to from her.
Como fan de Ariana desde hace mucho tiempo cada vez que anuncia un nuevo álbum me emociono y espero con ansias, y luego de un álbum tan bueno como lo fue "eternal sunshine" de verdad tenía muchas expectativas. Si primer single es "hate that I made you love me" que si bien no es el comeback del año, y aunque es una canción con un tono más oscuro y madurez vocal me pareció bastante fresca y con una melodía sutil y bonita. Me llamó la atención los registros más graves que usa Ariana, contrario a lo que nos tiene acostumbrados.
On the album's release day, we also got the second single, "Petal," whose video surprised me and I really liked it, as well as the song itself, which I'd say is one of my favorites on the album, along with other songs like "freak" and "kiss Me," which I think are incredible. I also really liked Ariana's image for the album; she presented a very elegant and fresh photoshoot that works very well with the album's overall concept. So, despite the mixed reviews and other opinions about the album, for me, it's a great album that totally met my expectations. Ariana has always been a great singer, and I'm happy that she did a great job with the successor to "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," an album that meant a lot to me. I love that the main message is one of renewal, resilience, and personal growth; I'd say it came to me when I needed it most.
El día de lanzamiento del disco también tuvimos el segundo sencillo "petal" cuyo vídeo me sorprendió y realmente me gustó mucho, al igual que la canción la cual podría decir que es de mis favoritas del disco, al igual que otras canciones como "freak" y "kiss me" las cuales me parecen increíbles. La imagen de Ariana para el álbum también me gustó mucho ya que presentó un photoshoot muy elegante y fresco que funciona muy bien con el concepto general del disco, así que a pesar de las críticas y otras opiniones del disco que han sido mixtas, para mí es un gran álbum que cumplió totalmente mis expectativas, Ariana siempre ha sido una gran cantante y estoy contenta de que haya hecho un gran trabajo con el sucesor de "eternal sunshine" un álbum que significó mucho para mí, y me encanta que el mensaje principal sea el de renovación, resiliencia y el crecimiento personal, diría que llegó a mi cuando más lo estoy necesitando.
In conclusion, I'd say it's a great album and well worth a listen. It showcases a different, renewed, and more musically experimental Ariana, who also dared to express her discontent with many things, such as criticism. I'd like to recommend it to all music lovers; I hope you like it and enjoy it as much as I do.
