COWS, COUNTRYSIDE, FOG AND ROADS... (PHOTOGRAPHY SERIES)

TCcats.jpg

I continue each day with this silent, pleasant, and necessary therapy: wandering almost always the same paths, looking almost always at the same corners, constantly watching the days unfold one after another with the typical unhurried pace of these places that know nothing of haste... For now, and I hope from now on, this helps me a lot, as my body and mind slowly return to the state they should be in... With each step, a photo, a glance, a thought, a visual and cognitive exercise that allows me to find myself again without the frantic energy of a week ago... This week passed very quickly; seven nights ago I was in the emergency room of the local hospital and had lost track of time. I only heard the murmur of the torrential downpour outside while I squinted at the nurses passing by and saw the worried face of my wife beside me... Yes, only seven days have passed, but some have gone by too quickly, others slowly, as if trying to whisper something in my ear... It took me several hours to regain my lucidity. I was completely lost and trying to understand what had happened, but I do remember thinking about the foggy roads and the cows grazing on the rural properties around the town... And at that moment, those memories helped calm me down and made me think about going back there... And these are some photos of that return to my everyday surroundings during these recent mornings of much-needed recovery and calm...

Good to know that these silent paths are giving you therapy and also helping you to find yourself again. These paths are really quite and peaceful, the fog even made the serenity of the environment look different.

And how are you feeling now? I hope you’re getting better day by day💙
