This microfiction story is for the prompt "going to exercise". It reminds me of my own actions when I was forced to comply with strict orders from the doctor during my medical checkup. Either change your habits of face a life with diabetes. "Remember," the doctor told me with urgency in his voice, "there is no cure, only treatment. So if you don't want to head in that direction, try to prevent it now.". Of course, I didn't, so I suffer the consequences because I didn't want to give up the lifestyle health choice I loved...to eat...and eat the wrong things. I share a micro story along those lines. Below is my story.
From across the boulevard, Callie spied the crowd.
The target: Husband Ralph.
The purpose: Expose the lie concerning his whereabouts.
Rationale: Accompanying Ralph for his annual physical, the doctor explicitly warned that his pre-diabetic diagnosis required diet and exercise.to prevent full-blown Type 2.
Donut shop wasn't in his treatment plan.

Me recuerda a mi propia experiencia cuando me vi obligado a cumplir las estrictas indicaciones del médico durante mi revisión médica.
