Hello everyone. I can hardly believe it's been months since my last post. As you may or may not be aware, I handed off ownership and management of the Drone Community to @borniet a while back. I had way too much on my plate and had to deal with many personal and work issues. I won't get into it on on this post, but Life Happens.
I have to admit I was a bit disappointed to see the postings fall off so much. I hope all of our prior supporters will join this new group and show the same enthusiasm that they did before. I don't plan to revive the old site, but do plan to become a little more active now that things are settling out a bit.
I know there were some others that had expressed interest in the Drone community some time ago. I didn't forget you, but had some very specific reasons for the choice I made. If anyone is wanting to get more involved, please reach out to @borniet and discuss it, and don't let that get in the way of supporting the rest of the community.
Enough on that topic, now how about some Drone pics? This is one of my favorite spots, Flagler Beach Pier in Florida. The pics and video were taken back in March. The new pier that you can see was just getting started back then. It's over halfway finished now, with them starting to put on the flooring of the pier. I'll get out later in Oct for some new pics, but I haven't shared these March pics yet.
Here's a flyby video I made while Betty the dog was at the groomer. The groomer is located right on hwy A1A across from the beach and I could fly from their parking lot.
This flight and pics were made with DJI Mavic 3. I'll also be cross-posting it in the old drone site just for visibility.
So how about it? Show the new Drone owner some love and make some posts!
