Sometimes life takes us through seasons we don't understand. We pray, we work hard, we try to do the right things, but somehow nothing seems to be going the way we expected. We start wondering why things are taking so long. We see other people moving forward while it feel like we are standing in the same place.
And honestly, those seasons can be the most difficult season.
What makes it harder is that people will not always see what is happening behind the scenes. They see the struggle, the delay, the disappointment, or the things that didn't work out, and they quickly form an opinion. But what people see is not always the whole story.
Think about a seed planted in the ground. From the surface, it may look like nothing is happening. Nobody can see the roots growing underneath. Nobody can see the changes taking place inside the seed. It looks buried, but it is actually beginning a process of growth.
I believe some seasons of our lives are like that.
There are times when God is working on us in ways we cannot see yet. Maybe He is teaching us patience. Maybe He is strengthening our faith. Maybe He is preparing us for something we have been praying for. Maybe a closed door is protecting us from something we don't know about.
The problem is that we often want to see the result before we are willing to trust the process. And trusting God is not always easy.
It is easy to say, “God has a plan,” when everything is going well. It is much harder to say it when you are waiting for an answer, dealing with disappointment, or watching one plan after another fall apart.
But faith doesn't mean you will never feel tired or discouraged. You can cry and still have faith, you can feel confused and still trust God. You can have questions and still believe that you have not been forgotten.
So, if you are going through a difficult season right now, don't let that season become your identity. A difficult chapter is not the entire story.
Don't compare your journey with someone else's either. Someone may be celebrating today while you are still waiting. That doesn't mean they are ahead of you or that you have been forgotten. Everyone has a different journey, and it doesn't work with all of us in exactly the same way.
Sometimes the struggle is preparing you for the responsibility that comes with the blessing. Sometimes the waiting is developing the patience you will need, sometimes the closed door is redirecting you, and sometimes, what feels like a setback is actually the beginning of something new.
So let keep going, let Keep praying, let Keep doing our part and have hope, even when you cannot see the bigger picture.
The caterpillar doesn't look anything like the butterfly it will become. If you judged it only by its present appearance, you would never imagine what is coming.
Maybe our life is like that too, let not judge ourselves by the season we are in. Our current situation is not necessarily our final
