Saludos queridos hivers, espero estén teniendo una semana productiva, en mi caso estoy prácticamente iniciando el año escolar con mis hijos y en mi trabajo también ya que soy docente, por lo que he tenido que organizarme para este regreso a clases de mis hijos de muchas maneras, comprando lo necesario para que tengan una buena hidratación en su jornada escolar, ya que con el fenómeno del niño el clima en mi ciudad esta con temperaturas sumamente altas, haciendo que el calor se intensifique más que todo después de las 10 de la mañana ocasionando bastante malestar ya que el calor es sofocante; sin contar con los cortes eléctricos de luz que agravan a un más la situación.

A pesar que mis hijos tienen aire acondicionado en sus aulas, se han quejado que el agua que llevan es escasa y se les acaba rápido, así que al otro día tuve que darle a mi hijo menor el termo que le había comprado a su hermano de 750 ml, y decidí comprarle al mayor otro pero de 1 litro, para despreocuparme en ese sentido.

Por lo que ayer fuimos al Centro Comercial Galerías, a buscar un termo que se adaptara a las necesidades de mi hijo mayor, encontrando uno perfecto en una tienda por departamento llamada Shoe Box, donde además encontré varios modelos de gorras para él a un excelente precio, optando por comprarle una gorra nueva también, ya que al momento de su salida del liceo el sol está en pleno esplendor; sirviéndole además para cuando tenga que ir a la cancha en la hora de Deportes; como pueden ver en esta tienda se pueden encontrar diferentes accesorios deportivos como balones, y casualmente ese día estaban colocando juegos de mesa, a mi hijo le gustó mucho una mesa de futbolito y otra para lanzar discos, mientras hacia la cola para pagar se distrajo un rato en este apartado de la tienda.

Antes de despedirme los invito a verificar que sus hijos y ustedes mismos estén llevando la cantidad de agua correcta, ya que hay que cuidarse mucho con este clima tan caluroso que tenemos, y que lamentablemente este fenómeno climático seguirá afectando con más intensidad nuestro planeta en este último trimestre del año, pidiendo a Dios que nos permita sobrellevar esta situación, hasta una nueva oportunidad.

Greetings, dear Hivers; I hope you are having a productive week. As for me, I am essentially starting the school year both with my children and at my own job, since I am a teacher. I’ve had to get organized in many ways for this back to school season, including buying supplies to ensure my kids stay well hydrated during the school day. Due to the El Niño phenomenon, temperatures in my city are extremely high; the heat intensifies—especially after 10 a.m. creating stifling, uncomfortable conditions, not to mention the power outages that make the situation even worse.

Although my children have air conditioning in their classrooms, they’ve complained that the water they bring runs out quickly. So, the next day, I gave my younger son the 750ml thermos I had originally bought for his brother, and I decided to buy a 1 liter one for the older boy so I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore.

Yesterday, we went to the Galerías Shopping Center to look for a thermos that suited my older son's needs. We found the perfect one at a department store called Shoe Box, where I also discovered several styles of caps for him at a great price; I decided to buy him a new cap as well, since the sun is blazing when he leaves high school. It will also come in handy when he has to go to the sports court for PE class. As you can see, this store offers various sports accessories like balls, and coincidentally they had board games and game tables set up that day; my son really liked a foosball table and a disc tossing game, so he entertained himself in that section of the store while I waited in line to pay.

Before I sign off, I encourage you to ensure that both you and your children are carrying an adequate supply of water; we must take great care given the current hot weather a climate phenomenon that will unfortunately continue to affect our planet with increasing intensity throughout the final quarter of the year.
