Whenever I am home, it always feels like it's just a backlog of socialization and family engagement.
At first, I thought about working a lot from home but these days whenever I am home, it feels like backlog of social relationship and engagement. So, despite wanting to work a lot, I can't fight the urge to rest and catching up with friends.
Today, I had the chance to attend my friend's engagement party. It was my first wedding-related events I attended after awhile. I got to see some of my church's friends as well as my students. It's funny because we are all in the same circle.
During the engagement, not only we got good food but we also got a goodie bag filled with Chinese traditional snacks and a fruit. I had good time there and lots of great laugh. I wished I could really go back in that time and just keep it there. Unfortunately, one of our friend is missing from that event, so it feels a bit missing from it.
In the event, I got to see how festive and sacred it was. While the even was quite intimate, its got all the essence. I feel happy for my friend because all of her family and the groom family were really supportive.
Honestly, I have been praying so I could attend her wedding because work put me into random places at times and I was afraid I couldn't attend hers. Well, now that I did, I felt happy to have not missed an important part of her life and be included in it.
Then, now, I am thinking about all of my backlogs and trying to crush them one by one. I count that my holiday is over now after my friend's wedding and now I am back hustling. So, well... even tomorrow I have some classes to attend early and even when I have my class, I have to actually study before it too. So, you can imagine how many backlogs I have and sometimes my boss just dumps work into my way and I am left figuring out how to prioritize them. Typically, at home I am very checked out. I like to rest a lot, slept a little late and such. Sometimes, the pay is not clear as well and too little for the amount given to us.
Here's more luck for me trying to crush all of my backlog and trying to find job that actually pays 😂 since I need to clear out my debt soon.
