Would you work at a convenience store for $200/night?
While it seems like a sweet deal, be ready to follow " The Rules".
During the day, it looks like your average convenience store. It has everything you might need but during the evening, it welcomes anyone, the seen and the unseen.
If you fail to follow the rules set by the store, be ready to face the uncanny world of the place and survive the terror of the night.
While this is still an on-going TV series on Viu, I can recommend to anticipate this one as it has unique story and the classic thai horror style that leaves you feeling chill in your bones.
For someone who frequents around the evening, it gets a little too real because in the scene, they have to welcome anyone, seen/unseen. They also have to serve them, keep the store clean and accept whatever payment was given to them.
Uniquely, the store pick its night workers. Only the select few can see the opening poster. So, not everyone has the chance to work the night shift.
The main character is Metha, not much is being told currently but he is a troubled man with a daughter to take care of. He needs money to also support his ill-wife and is having enormous amount of debt. There are more characters but sometimes they are only fleeting characters and you're left to wonder what was their sin.
There's a delivery guy who supplies the store need and comes before 3 AM on the clock. He said, " Don't trust anything that looks too human". I suspect, that delivery guy is also one of those unseen stuck between two realms. But, who knows? We're pretty much early.
If you have VIU, check this one out. It airs every Wednesday and every episode, leaves you wondering.
While I've been watching some, I put this on top of my recommendation because its setting that's close to day-to-day life. Yet the story itself is full of mystery and perhaps, won't end in a closure that you might expect.
So, check it out!
