October is a month when I believe we must exercise great caution on the spiritual level because a door opens to the unknown, and human beings have not yet learned how to close and block it. Not everything that enters is good; it affects the planet. And as they say in my town—from somewhere far, far away:

“They fly, yes, they fly.” I associate it with transformation, renewal, change, and preparing for the winter days. Plants shed their leaves, and it’s also harvest time. According to the article published by Reinaldo Chirinos on the website www.aporrea.org on October 10, 2025, titled “The Month of October: Origin, History, Spirituality, and Cosmic Meaning”:

“In various traditions, it is seen as a time when the veil between the material and spiritual worlds grows thinner…” For more information, visit aquí October is a month of commemorations and celebrations—OMG! Believe it or not, witches celebrate, too. So be very careful if you happen to run into one. Among the celebrations: World Smile Day, Inter-American Water Day, World Animal Day, World Mental Health Day, World Food Day, World Nature Conservation Day, Breast Cancer Awareness Day, Cat Day, Halloween, and more. There are five dates that are important to me: Senior Citizens’ Day and Breast Cancer Awareness Day. And the other three are related to my greatest passions: coffee, cocoa, and music. On October 1, “International Day of Older Persons” was celebrated, established with the aim of honoring those who have contributed to society through their work and dedication. In turn, many nations have created policies and are developing strategies to improve the living conditions and mental health of older adults, with the goal of helping them remain active so they can continue to contribute to society. This day was launched by the UN in 1991. Breast Cancer Awareness Day: observed on the 19th; this is why October is known as “Pink Month.” It is a day to raise awareness among women about the need for annual screenings and maintaining a healthy diet. This day was established by the WHO in 1988.

“Un cafecito… “¡Riquito, riquito…”

“A little coffee… ‘So good, so good…’”

For me, celebrating Coffee Day means celebrating every single day of the year. Historians say it originated in Africa, in the region of Ethiopia; from there, it spread throughout the world. According to the website laboutiquedigod.com in its article “The History of Coffee: How It Went from a Drink of Kings to a Daily Ritual,” it states:

“Coffee was introduced to Europe in the 17th century through trade with the Ottoman Empire…” For more information, visit aquí Coffee is a magical word; its aroma and flavor intoxicate me. It fills me with energy when I’m feeling really low. I think coffee is an important part of being human. A cup of hot, black coffee without sugar can brighten my days. There’s a song going around on TikTok by a user known as Thiago Navarro, called “Bonito, bonito.” It’s a catchy tune that invites you to have a cup of coffee and enjoy a beautiful day full of good vibes. Here’s the video. Bonito, Bonito ☀️ – Thiago Navarro Music | Cafecito, Sonrisas y Cosas Bonitas

Source This famous video has gone viral, and just like Paraulata, everyone on the planet is humming: “Un cafecito (riquito, riquito)” The most interesting thing is that the song was created using artificial intelligence. Can you believe it! According to the website www.elcolombiano.com “Both the song and the character were created using artificial intelligence. Even on Navarro’s official Instagram profile, the description states that he is a ‘digital artist’ created by Venezuelan content creator Anier Cruz…” For more information, visit aquí Wow! Talking about chocolate is also “yummy, yummy…” I don’t know about you, but I love chocolate; if it’s hot and thick with cinnamon, it’s even more delicious. If we pair it with bread and butter, it’s priceless. I prefer the cocoa beans from the Paria region: Guiria, Irapa, El Pilar, and Tunapuy. The process for making them by hand isn’t complicated. First, the beans are harvested and left to dry in the sun. Then they’re placed in a wood-fired cauldron until they’re cooked. They’re stirred constantly so they don’t burn. They’re left to cool, then spices—cinnamon sticks and cloves—are added. They’re ground, and the resulting paste is shaped into small balls. Finally, they’re left to cool in the open air so they harden. As for the music: What can I tell you, my friends at #Hive, that you don’t already know? I like almost every kind of music, and I love dancing to it and shouting at the top of my lungs: “Play it, DJ!” Girl, this one! I almost forgot: on October 10, I’ll be celebrating 35 years of marriage to Esposito. Apparently, it’s a coral wedding anniversary. I’m going to have to start taking Fitina; a woman like me, with such a good memory who remembers everything, forgot such an important date. As Óscar Yanes used to say: “That’s just how things are.”

October begins quietly, without fanfare. Let’s hope it doesn’t bring too many complications. I think that, like me, many people are exhausted from so many complications, disappointments, and unfulfilled hopes. However, we must keep going wherever the current takes us. Above all, we must never stop believing that we can turn the tide in our favor—without complaining and with gratitude.

I’m still on #Hive and visiting some communities to share my words, filled with love and positive vibes, that never give up. I didn’t make it in time for the HivePower party on October 1, but you can do it any day of the year. “I’m not giving up,” as the song says. I browse, post, vote, and interact with comments to support other users.
