It has been a very long time since I last posted content in this community, but today I felt it was necessary—it would be an unforgivable sin not to share with you the beauty of a place that captivated me a few days ago. It is the botanical garden in the city of Naguanagua, in the state of Carabobo, Venezuela. It serves as a "green lung" amidst the bustling city, offering a variety of landscapes—from meadows filled with wildflowers or exotic blooms to dense forests and even small jungle-like areas. Everything is clearly marked with informational signs, allowing us to learn more about the ecosystem.
Hace muchísimo tiempo que yo no publico contenido en esta comunidad pero sencillamente hoy lo creí necesario pues me parece un pecado imperdonable no compartir con ustedes la belleza de este lugar que me cautivó hace unos días, se trata del jardín botánico de la ciudad de Naguanagua en el estado Carabobo, Venezuela, es un pulmón verde en medio de la ajetreada ciudad en el cuál puedes encontrar muchos paisajes diferentes com praderas llenas de flores silvestres o exóticas, bosques con arboles que crecen muy juntos y hasta pequeñas junglas, todo está debiamente señalado con carteles de información para que aprendamos más del ecosistema.
I even came across some strange fruits—like this berry, which caught my eye the moment I saw it. I asked the AI about it, and it warned me not to eat it, as it is highly toxic. I really think there should have been a sign there stating this, because an imprudent visitor—or a child who might not exercise common sense—could easily end up consuming it.
Incluso encontré frutas extrañas como esta balla que llamó mucho mi atención en cuanto la vi, sin embargo le pregunté a la IA y me advirtió que n debía ingerirla pues es altamente tóxica, y ahí creo que debía haber un cartel informando eso porque puede haber algún visitante imprudente o un niño que no use el sentido común.
This is one of my favorite photographs, as it showcases the star of the garden—fittingly positioned in the very center, in a truly special spot. It is a massive, native tree of a variety known as "Samán," with an exceptionally thick trunk. This magnificent natural giant is centuries old; it has stood in that very spot for over four hundred years. In other countries, this tree is known as the "rain tree," because its leaves close up when it rains, as they also do at night.
Esta es de mis fotografías favoritas pues muestran a la estrella del jardín (no en vano está en el medio del jardín, en un lugar especial) se trata de este enorme árbol, un closo autóctono de una variedad llamada "Samán" su tronco es realmente grueso. Este maravilloso gigante natural es centenario, tiene más de cuatrocientos años plantado en ese lugar. A este árbol se le conoce en otrs paises como "Arbol de lluvia" debido a que cuando llueve sus hojas se cierran y también lo hace durante la noche.

Detrás de la verja está la Villa Olimpica, lugera en el cuál se recibe a los atletas cuando hay competencias
And here we have another photo of the Samán tree next to the tiny chapel that was donated by the city’s diocese; it is, without a doubt, a truly beautiful scene.
