If I could have a day to myself to either be in charge of hive or manage it, one thing I would do/fix is something that would greatly benefit new users and old users who seem to be unnoticed even though they are creating/writing good, nice, and amazing content.
First off, most new users find a lot of things confusing; they heard how the community/platform is one where you can be you, create content, and earn from it through upvotes, but even still they seem to not understand how it works. I remember someone asking me sometime ago how someone's 10% upvote could give them $2 and another person's 100% upvote is giving them $0.001 as rewards. I had to explain things to them and make them see how that actually works. Other times, people don't know how to participate in a contest, as some communities are filled with just so many rules. And while some people are able to find someone who's guiding and putting them through, others don't have this opportunity, and you see them leaving without anyone noticing.
So, what I would do is work on something that would make Hive easier and simpler for new users to understand. Just a very simple guide that consists of and explains how to create good posts, engage with others, earn, grow, participate in contests, and what terms like "HP," "RC," and the like are and what they mean too. I would also encourage experienced users to try as much as possible to pay attention to new users the best way they could.
Also, try as much as possible to support new users' posts, both with engagement and upvotes. This also concerns even old users whose posts' content seems unnoticed. I know no one can force anyone to do anything, but then this is a community, and we all should help each other grow as a family that we are. And a little encouragement through upvotes, support, advice, and engagement would help make a huge difference.
Hive definitely goes beyond a place where you come to earn; it is a community/platform where you can learn, connect, be you, build meaningful relationships, and all of that. So, if I have a day to do something, I would do something that would make things easier and the platform welcoming for the next person joining in.
