Today, we're diving into the third episode of SHE, and as you can already tell, each episode has its own title, or let's say subtitle, while also being a continuation of the former. Here in this third episode, the desperation of Siyanbola had grown so much after Tito won the artist of the year award; that award kind of made Tito very much more in the spotlight, and it made Siyanbola bitter
Because of that, she started finding ways and doing things to make sure she was still in good standing with the public, and that made her begin to do charity works all around; she also gifted Bayo a car, which we later found out was a lie and it was just to create content and make the public see her as a generous and kind celebrity.
Because in all honesty, she was losing it; even her staff are now being owed. You won't believe it: the great Siyanbola herself is now owing her staff several months of salaries. And it's not as if she doesn't have the money; of course she does, especially seeing how she spends money on herself but intentionally refuses to pay those who depend on that salary she's owing them.
And because of how bitter she is at the fame and rise of Tito, she made a plan to destroy her; she got someone on the job, and they found a way to spike Tito's drink. Then they took some pictures of her that aren't good for the public to see; those were meant to be released to the public so they could destroy her totally. Well, that was the extent to which Siyanbola went just to destroy Tito; I even thought she would just scare her with it, but then she released it. The pictures went viral and did Tito great harm.
This was the episode that made me kind of develop some hatred for SHE (Siyanbola), even though I understand that she was shit playing the role she's assigned too, and that it is just a movie, even still I can't help but wonder at how far someone can go just so to bring down somebody else. SHE is just too obsessed with being and remaining number one, but come on.... How is that possible? She refused to accept that people come and go, and it cannot always be you forever.
You see that scene where she dashed Bayo a car? I knew it couldn't be real. This is the same Siyanbola that couldn't help him or send him abroad and was just busy using him. She even recorded the whole thing and posted it just so people could see her as a giver, but I knew it was just for content. You're still owing your staff, so how will you even gift someone a car? And there's another of your staff who needs money urgently for her child's treatment; you kept postponing her too. Siyanbola is just too much for a person... She's wicked, desperate, bitter, inhumane, uncaring, selfish, and everything that you can think of.
I forgot to add this: Tito actually released a song, and the song made a lot of waves. That song became the talk of the town; that was what made Siyanbola more bitter and made her cross the line by going to the extent of hiring someone to spike her (Tito's) drink and take pictures of her that they finally posted for the public to see. When Tito saw it, she was heartbroken, and I can't help but feel for her; this is the lady who just won the best musician award.
I love this particular episode so much, but the comedy in it was just too much. The story was good and okay, but the comedy part in it was just too much for me, especially her staff's... something serious is
My biggest problem was that some of the comedy around Etim, Ruka, and some of the staff interrupted the seriousness of the story. The fire-alarm scene near the end, where everyone discovers SHE and someone else in an embarrassing situation, was funny, but it felt somehow in the middle of the story, especially after the serious and dark situation surrounding Tito.
Still, this episode moved the story forward properly. SHE is no longer just jealous; she is actively active in destroying anyone just so to protect her position.
