Saludos, amigos amantes del rico y variado sazón. 💁☀️

Enjoying Creamy Rice Pudding with Crispy Cereal as a Family
Greetings, friends who love delicious and varied cuisine. 💁☀️
Happy day to everyone!
This Sunday, my home would once again be the meeting place for a family gathering, and thinking about that lovely occasion, I wanted to make sure there was a sweet treat on the table. So, I got to work and prepared one of my favorite desserts: creamy rice pudding, which I decided to accompany with crispy rice cereal to enjoy the combination of both textures in every bite.
I invite you, friends, to discover the recipe for this delicious homemade dessert.
Let’s get started!
Rice Pudding with a Touch of Crispy Cereal🍚
✨General ingredients for 5 servings
- 1½ cups of rice
- ¾ liter of milk
- 2 cups of water
- 7 tablespoons of white sugar
- 2 tablespoons of powdered milk
- ½ tablespoon of vanilla
- A pinch of salt
- Crispy rice cereal to taste
✨Preparation method
I began by measuring out one and a half cups of rice, checking it carefully and rinsing it thoroughly with plenty of water. Then, I placed it in a pot with two cups of water and a pinch of salt, allowing it to cook for approximately 15 minutes, until the grains softened well.
Friends, if the rice is still firm after this time and needs a little more water to soften completely, you can add a small amount and let it cook for a few more minutes before adding the remaining ingredients. In my case, the rice softened in 15 minutes.
Once I confirmed that the rice was nice and soft, I added the seven tablespoons of white sugar and stirred until it dissolved. Next, I poured in the three-quarters of a liter of milk and allowed the mixture to come back to a boil, keeping it over the heat until it began to thicken and develop a creamy consistency.
When the rice pudding was almost ready, I added half a tablespoon of vanilla, stirred to incorporate it, and let it boil for one more minute before removing the pot from the heat.
Next, I transferred the dessert to a container and allowed it to cool slightly before placing it in the refrigerator for approximately one hour.
When it was time to serve, I sprinkled the two tablespoons of powdered milk over the top and added the crispy rice cereal just before serving, combining the creaminess of the pudding with the cereal’s crunchy touch.
This homemade dessert turned out delicious, friends! My family loved it, and it made a sweet ending to our Sunday gathering.
I hope you enjoyed this preparation and feel encouraged to make this homemade dessert to share with your family.
Positive vibes to everyone, and a big hug!
