There are times when you feel like you have been busy and also feeling stressed at the same time, and you want is to give yourself a treat, probably by being alone and having a nice time by yourself. Though having a nice time with your loved ones is really amazing, but sometimes you just want to be alone and have the whole time to yourself. The problem when you think to have this type of lifestyle, you’ll get to realize that you don’t even have enough money to do all these, so you can’t even think about it.
Yeah, money is an important factor in making some of these things possible. But then, LOH asked, “If you had a completely free, solo Saturday with an unlimited budget, what are the three things you will definitely do?” Having an unlimited budget means I can do a lot of things without money being the problem, and who wouldn’t love that? :)
Visit somewhere nice and experience something different
Despite the fact that I don’t really love to travel, maybe I would love it if the means of transportation was easier. You can imagine staying in a car for hours before getting to your destination, nah, that’s that’s so tiring so this time around, I’ll be taking a flight because it’s more easier and faster.
I’ll be visiting Obudu Cattle Ranch in Cross River State, Nigeria. I’ve heard and read that it’s a beautiful tourist centre, and how amazing the place looks, with different kinds of adventures and beautiful scenery. So I believe going there would be a really good experience. Since I have an unlimited budget, I will make the journey part of the fun instead of spending half of my day on the road.
Visit a museum
I will also love to visit a museum and galleries with variety of masterpieces, ancient artefacts and beautiful artworks. I find it interesting to see things that became its tells stories about the past and I see it as way to learn something new while walking around at my own pace. I’m really going to take my time doing this, I wouldn’t want to rush through it, since I have whole Saturday to myself
Have a quiet time with a good solo meal
Yeah, I love food, not just any food, but good food. And since this is my imaginary unlimited-budget Saturday, I will love to try different meals, especially foods that I will not spend money on in a normal day . You know good food can make a day feel special, and I’ll definitely be treating myself to it, hehehe.
After having a good meal, I will love to have some quiet time while enjoying a beautiful view in a nice and peaceful place. Since it’s a free solo day, I’m going to enjoy it to the fullest and make it memorable for me. Yeah, I will try as much possible not to think about work, deadlines or everything that needs to be done. Just having some quiet time for myself, relaxing and having a self reflection, that’s sounds perfect right?
Hopefully, I will be able to fit everything into one day, since it’s just a Saturday. Even if I don’t manage to do everything in a day, at least I will be enjoying the day without worrying about money, work or time, it’s Just going to me alone with good food, beautiful places, and new experiences. Honestly, that looks like a pretty perfect Saturday to me.
