A successful weeding exercise, a blend of patience and Hope for some rice fields

Hello Hive

This is another plot of our rice farms. In all I have grown rice on about 3plots in different location. With all these we are expecting to harvest at least 5X or more of a 50kg bag of rice grains that is if these crops produce their food really well.

Out of all the 3plots cultivated, I have one that has really produced enough food at this time while the others are still trying out our patience. If for any reason you still have crops that are yet to produce their foods at this time then it becomes difficult and challenging as the rains are already going away. The second week in this month of October is when we have had the last rain and up until now there has been no single drop.

There would have been no issues for this rice to produce their foods if the rains continue to fall until the month of October is over. After that time the plants will have start bearing the haul that will carry the grains. But if by this time the plant is yet to produce it's food, then it becomes a little challenging.

The plants can dry up from here with no rain and end up producing nothing. I just hope it doesn't turn out that way so that our labour will not go to waste.

In all planting of crops early and timely is very important. I almost wouldn't have engaged in farming this year because daddy isn't strong enough to assist anymore but it turns out that we must eat food and as a result cutting out this activity can result to hunger as we so used to growing our own crops.

The idea for growing any crops is to plant them early and timely. By the time I started working on the farm and all the challenges encountered with drought in between that halted the planting season, alot of activywere disrupted, we planted some portion in hope that the weather will be a bit friendly and give us enough rains for this grains to give us some food.
