Hello, Splinterlands fans. We’re back with more news, surprises, and things to share, and I want to tell you about my “adventures” in this Hive Blockchain video game. This time, I want to share my modest progress in the Modern category of the Ranked section. I’ve also been doing my usual routine of buying and opening Starter Packs, Common cards, and Rare cards from the Conclave Arcana set. It’s the last week of October and the final week of the season in Splinterlands, so I plan to do everything I can to make progress and move up a division.

En esta ocasión les quiero compartir mi pequeño progreso en el apartado de Modern de la sección de Ranked. También he estado realizando la acostumbrada compra y apertura de Sobres Starter, cartas Comunes y cartas Raras de edición Cónclave Arcana. Estamos en la última semana de octubre y la última semana de la temporada en Splinterlands, así que tengo pensado hacer todo lo posible por progresar y subir de división.

Starting with Division 8
As I’ve mentioned before, I haven’t been very active this season in Ranked play, especially in Modern with the Brackets. Aside from a lack of time, I also still need some special cards and need to level up some common cards I have in order to play more. But before I tell you about the cards I’ve gotten from buying booster packs and such, I first want to share what I earned by moving up a division in Modern. Now that I think about it, there are only a few days left until the season ends (3 days as of this writing), so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to move up much further in the divisions.
Como ya les he contado antes, no he estado muy activo esta temporada en la sección de Ranked, especialmente en el apartado de Modern con los Brackets. Aparte de la falta de tiempo, también que aún necesito algunas cartas especiales y subir de nivel otras cartas comunes ahí que tengo para poder jugar más. Pero antes de contarles las cartas que he conseguido comprando sobres y demás, primero les quiero compartir lo que gané al poder subir de división en Modern. Ahora que me fijo bien, solo quedan pocos días para que termine la temporada (3 días al momento de escribir esto), así que no sé si llegaré a subir mucho de división.

The rewards I earned upon advancing to Division 8—aside from the usual GLINTS you earn by playing in Modern Brackets—are as follows: 158 MERITS, 1 Potion, and 3 Common cards from the Conclave Arcana set. One of the cards I got is a COMMON-rarity, Earth-element Unit called Stonebind Matron (Canisan); it has 8 mana, 4 health, 4 speed, and 2 magic attack. The other card I got (2 copies) is another COMMON-rarity Unit of the Life element called Palimpsest Prophet (Djinn); it has 3 mana points, 1 armor point, 2 health points, 2 speed points, and 1 melee attack point.

41st Starter Pack Opening
Let’s continue with our usual opening of Starter Packs from the Conclave Arcana set in this special section about the things I do and achieve in Splinterlands. I think I’ve talked more than enough about this habit I’ve been having of investing money and DECS in buying and opening card packs to improve my deck and be able to play more in the future. Especially to play more in Modern, where, as you’ve just seen, I’m way behind in that division. I always enjoy opening a pack and getting both new and duplicate cards because, on the one hand, I get to expand my card collection a bit, and on the other hand, I can accumulate enough copies to level them up.

Especialmente, para jugar más en Modern donde, como acaban de ver, voy muy lento y retrasado en esa sección. More Common and Rare Cards
Now let’s talk about the cards I bought in the Shop section—specifically in the Rewards section, which I’ve been visiting a lot lately since I plan to spend all the GLINTS I have (or at least most of them) on Common and Rare cards from the Conclave Arcana set to further improve my deck and my collection. Lately, I’ve been getting several duplicate cards, but as I mentioned above, that’s a good thing since I can accumulate enough copies to level them up—which is something I need to do with some of the cards I currently have.

Two New Level-Ups
To wrap up this chapter on a high note, I couldn't think of a better way than to share two new level-ups for a couple of cards I have there. Honestly, I thought I wouldn't be able to level up any more cards for a while since I haven't managed to get enough copies from the booster packs I've been opening. But I kept buying cards in the Rewards section to get enough copies to level up the following cards—which, coincidentally, I’ve also received exclusively through Rewards.
