If anyone can hear this, don't come looking for us. We have decided to venture to the center of the planet, to a depth far beyond our ability to calculate. Why are we doing this? Because the atmosphere is collapsing; before long, global warming will reach an unsustainable level. The only solution is to shield ourselves from the sun's rays.
According to top scientists, things will return to normal in about a thousand years, but our civilization will have adapted so well to the darkness that the light will harm us.
I have no idea what will become of humanity without us, but I hope they become intelligent enough to understand my words: do not look for us—we want nothing to do with you.
