I've a good feeling about this one. Hull was the kick in the arse that United needed to get their season started properly and while it is a game that they should be winning easily you never know how the first day out is going to go.
Hopefully that should be enough to get the team fired up and if I was Carrick it would have set off the alarm bells in training and be used as serious ammunition to get the players back on track.
You can't be losing to newly promoted teams and even worse be outplayed by them. That won't happen again today.
That's why I placed 1000 medals on United to win today as a chance for those other unbelievers on sportsblock to donate their medals to me.
Blanchy making the smart play here with a sneaky 50/1 upside bet if Ipswich can get a win. He will clean up 1200 medals for the price of 25 if it comes through and is a great strategy. A few more are backing the draw which is a good play just on the off chance that United aren't firing on all cylinders again.

Ipswich had a good win last week against Sunderland but are heading to Old Trafford today which is a big step up in class and experience. I will be waiting with interest to see what team United line out with and my biggest worry is the left back position where we still need to buy another top player before the window closes. United have been linked with everybody and anybody but nothing has moved forward yet. Shaw is good but getting old, injury prone and won't be able to play every week. Dalot plays on the right, Martinez is still injured and Dorgu is not a defender.
It is a weak point in the team and when you play Cunha or Rashford in front of them it makes it an even harder position to play in.
I still think United should have too much fire power for them and will be backing real money on a few goals for them today on the side. It should be an interesting game and I'm looking forward to sitting down this evening and enjoying a good game hopefully.
