The weather has been so hot and harsh recently , very uncomfortable both at noon and at night. Sleeping on my bed is already a war due to heat, and you know what? I don't have a solar yet 🥲; otherwise, I wouldn't be complaining but rather turn on my fan and enjoy soft life, but then, it is what it is.
Electricity supply is no longer news on how epileptic it is over here. And then, buying petrol this period is like buying blood from the blood bank; you will spend more than you earn if you make it a daily habit just to escape the heat. As long as I don't have the financial capacity yet, I have no choice but to endure the heat most of the days without turning on my generator, wear a very light cloth and sleep on the tiles some days, but then, I have mosquitoes to deal with. So you see, life is not a bed of roses, but we have to survive by all means.
In fact, those who are dead, if you give them the opportunity to come back to life and endure the heat wave one ion times, I am sure they will choose it, so yeah, I am grateful for everything.
Looking at my kids and how they also endure the hot weather, I decided to walk into a supermarket this afternoon just prior to when the school bus will drop them at home, and then I purchased some chilled ice cream to help calm their nerves.
Immediately the thought came, I didn't dismiss it at all but entered the bike, rushed and bought ice cream for the boys, waiting for their return, and in less than 5 mins, the school bus was at my gate. You needed to see how excited the kids were upon seeing the ice cream on the dining table.
They quickly washed their hands and devoured the ice cream like their lives depend on it, hahaha. They were like, 'Mummy, how do you know this is exactly what our body needed? 'Of course I know; who wouldn't love an ice cream in hot weather? 🤩😍
