This is what they call Twilight time.

I had to find out what the difference is between twilight and dusk. 029.JPG

You will see some early twilight photos in here (10 shots).

There are mountains that block the sunrise, and I took all of the photos before the sun appeared above the mountains. I have heard twilight referred to before sunrise and before sunset. Confusing, isn't it? No, it is not confusing, as I found it interesting. Why then is dusk then not the same? The answer is that dusk only appears before nightfall, and not at sunrise like twilight does. So, the thing for us to remember regarding the colors is twilight appears both before sunrise and before sunset.

As usual, my camera led me to a few different spots to show me some lovely views on an early morning. Why so early, because I battle to sleep due to some health issues and I don't like to lay in the bed with my eyes open, so now I bet you will say you will have to close your eyes, but not in my case as it is exactly the same as my open eyes. I remain wide awake. So, I rather get up and go outside. The thing is that only a few hours of sleep are not enough to stay fresh during the day, and it also results in having a foggy brain.

You can see daylight gradually starting to appear, and it is so lovely to hear the first birdsong choruses. Another thing to like about this occasion, was that there were no noises, as it was too early for the town to wake up. The silence can really talk to one, and it's all about peace.

Finally, the crows gave me the message that it's time for me to go. 050.JPG

This is the one good thing about waking up early, as soon it will be all noises again and the busyness will start. Train sounds, traffic sounds, and all of the rest of it. But the majestic views remain in my mind, and I treasure it the whole day. I said elsewhere that nature is a part of all of us on this planet, but mankind just continues to try its best to destroy it. An article in the media stated that some oil tankers were sunk in the Hormuz Straights, and oil is running on to the beaches all around. Just imagine what that does for the marine life. Such is life.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

I love the early morning as well, especially the morning blue before twilight. It's an amazing part of the day! It was beautiful there with those nice clouds, I guess being at the cape you get great clouds a lot of the time! Great shots, clouds in the early morning are so beautiful, although I have to confess I prefer the clearer days when the clear morning blue shows through!

Dusk and sunsets can be beautiful too, but I prefer the mornings. I'm more of a morning person though I suppose! Nice shot of the crows at the end, I guess it was their way of saying goodbye! lol

Keep up the good work Zac, I hope you and the wife are feeling well. A tip as always now that I'm back in action!
