...and as usual, I took some random shots of the landscapes.
It is the first day of the new month, of September, and we hope that it will be kind to everyone. We just have to keep an eye on that El Nino fellow, as they reckon it will grow in intensity across the world.
I have this habit of searching for other views whenever I have to wait in order to get the target. My target was to get the August full moon, as there was supposed to be a partial eclipse, and I was hoping to see it, but we are too far south on the African continent, and the eclipse could not be seen from here. I know that the residents in Europe and other northern countries could see it, as there are many photos of the eclipse on the internet.
But not to worry, as I know that we will see it at some other such occasion in the future, and instead, for now, I just concentrated on the views during this waiting period. I knew that I would get shots of the moon later on, as I kept track of the moon that we could see every day. In any case, there is so much to see here, that I would not have bothered about getting the moon at all. The only thing that also worried me was the cloudy skies. Come and see.

The moon appeared towards the right of my favorite tree.
I really think that this is a lovely shot below.
Here it seems that things were starting to darken.
But the fuller shot showed that there was still some blue sky.
A very nice sunset started to show its colors.
And at nightfall, I got these two shots below of the full moon.
Untouched by editing with photoshop and such things, as I do not have any, but I prefer to show things as they are even though my eyes can see it so much better. I am waiting for a camera that can take the shots the same as when we see them with the human eye, but I don't think such a camera exists yet, but one never knows. My main idea when I bought the Powershot camera was to get the moon, and I am quite happy with its performance.
The camera has a full set of settings, such as sports, to catch quick movement, macro, and all the other normal camera settings, but the thing that I prefer is the zoom as that is what I use the most. The sad thing is that Canon has ended the production of the Powershot line of cameras, and we are all waiting to see what they will come up with next. The only worry is that it will be too expensive for me to get one, and so this one will just have to last. Such is life.
