Mama happily shared to me about her five matured coconut, she said, she saw these men planning to climb up in the coconut tree to get young coconut and politely asked them if they could Perhaps drop this five matured coconut in the water that is also within reach. Mama thought they won't do it coz I mean, they were asked by a strange, haha. But these kind men drop the matured coconut first and when Mama saw it, she was so happy that she immediately plan what to cook using those coconuts haha. And I suggested that we should make coco jam, glad she agreed with my suggestion haha. But yeah, these men just drop a happy moments for her and of course that happiness was also transferred to me coz I love coconut jam...ƪ(‾.‾“)┐
Then in the afternoon, after taking a bath, she proceed on peeling them. The coconut are all dry but still so hard to open. Removing the Husk need a lot of force so mama has a hard time. But still, its a free coconut so thats just the small price to pay. And in exchange we'll get an awesome Jam later ehehe. But anyway, look at Dahlia there giving mama a moral support hahaha. By the way, Dahlia just appeared last night after disappearing for 3 days. We really thought something bad happened to her but thank heaven she's safe and with us now. ෆ╹ .̮ ╹ෆ
So, while Mama is busy peeling the coconut, i on the other hand was busy looking around the yard. While doing so, Mama pointed this small and malnourished papaya that has hint of yellowish now on its skin. Mama also said that even though it is like that, bit is actually taste good and sweet. She already tried them while she already cook the unripe ones. She said they took longer to soften than the regular healthy Papaya. And thats why, we shouldn't judge it by its appearance. Coz it has something amazing inside once we open it. \(๑╹◡╹๑)ノ♬, awesomeness!!
Anyway, after minutes of fighting with the coconut...lolol -Mama finally peeled 3 coconut. Just three but there's only two here, but they're three matured coconut. Mama didn't waste much time and immediately put them in a bag to being them in the Market. Rather than grating them manually, she just decided to go in this shop with a machine that grate coconut. Grating and squeezing it to get the coconut milk cost 8 pesos per coconut. Not bad right? I suggested that to her btw, ehe
Now, here comes the exciting part, Mama arrived home after visiting the market with the coconut milk and some hatdog buns...man, mama is so ready for this. I thought we'll have it for breakfast tomorrow hahaha. Guess mama is really craving for it. Mama didn't waste any more time and started cooking Coconut Milk. Making coco jam is really easy with just three ingredients which are: Coconut Milk, Sugar, a lot of it, and salt to balance the sweetness. Mama cooked the coco jam while continuously stirring it until it began to thicken and it doesn't stick to the pan anymore. Its done!
Its eating time!!! I didn't wait more time and spread it on my buns right after mama finish cooking it. Like, why wait for it to cool down right? Who do that? Not me for sure ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ lololol.
And just like that, the simple request turn into something amazing and sweet. We won't have this yum if not for those kind men. Too bad, they left after picking up all the young coconut ୧( ˵ ° ~ ° ˵ )୨
