We are enjoying our vacation with a sauna session and view of the ocean. We were going to visit a brand new French restaurant that opened up on the island, but after looking at the menu we decided to pass today. It was all mostly steaks and rabbit.
We will probably still check it out, but not today as we were not in the mood for steaks as I just grilled us some USDA Prime Ribeye steaks and I finished the leftovers today.
The weather is starting to cool down in Seattle area and it is especially noticeable on the island where we are surrounded by Puget Sound Pacific Ocean water. It seems to be about five degrees cooler compared to Seattle mainland.
Our neighbors sent us a letter via United States Postal office today saying that they would like to meet with us and discuss shared water well responsibilities. I wonder what is that about... Probably not good news.
We have rabbits sitting in our backyard not paying any attention to us and in the middle of the night raccoons stopped by followed by three deer. There are lots of birds including bold eagles that nest is the high trees by the water.
I love how quiet and peaceful it is here on the island. I also get great steps every time we are here. Don't know how but steps just happen, we must be more active here. We are going to finish up the day with a British show Fool Me Once.
We are already on episode four of the eight episode limited series. British shows feel different from the way American shows are, there seems to be a lot less action and use of technology is so limited that it feels almost nonexistent.
And everything feels like it is a lot slower paced. Probably the difference of how life is in Britain compared to the United States.
