Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all! I hope you are spending a nice weekend! Here the sky today is full of dark cloud and outside is a little cold, so I think I'll spend the most part of the day in relax inside our cozy home. ❤️ Yesterday me and my hubby had a very busy Saturday, because we opened our door to the people who wanted to spend some hours with us in a friendly way and a friend of us told us about his new book between some cups of coffee and many chats.
It was a very awesome afternoon spent between old and new friends, eve if my day started cleaning my house in a very strong way. 😁
We met Matteo Marchesini for the first time some years ago, in the bookshop of our friend Elena. For around 3 years we helped Elena to manage the bookshop included the many book signings and small events there. Since it was closed, we started to open our lab house from time to time for book signings, small music sessions and other way to stay in touch with old and new friends.
Yesterday was the second time that Matteo, who is a poet, essayist and literary critic, was our guest in our lab and he talked about his book (a sort of ironic diary of the last 10 years) between our artworks.
At the right we placed a double portrait of Pier Paolo Pasolini painted years ago by my hubby @paolobeneforti :
For the open day, we placed our artworks all around in the lab room and also in the living where there was something good to eat (like an excellent apple pie! 😃).
