Hello hivers, an happy Friday to you all! It's raining hard here and I think it will have bad weather also during the weekend. Tomorrow we will open our lab house to the people who want to spend the afternoon in a artist studio and during that time a writer (who is also a friend of us) will tell us about his new book. Fortunately our lab room is large enough and so, even if it will rain, we can stay there in a comfortable way. 😁
This morning, as usual, I woke up soon to work with my brushes and colors during the first hours of the day. During these days I'm exercising my hands and my imaginations sketching and painting subjects in different pose. You know I use to paint my character just in head and shoulders poses, but I'm exercising myself to create more complex scenes just to understand if my own characters can work adding them arms and legs. 😀 In the following pic you can see the scene I painted on my sketchbook this morning:
As you can see I imagined an old white haired man with an hen. It's an oil colors painting on a page of one of my large sketchbooks and, as usual, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
I hope you like it! See ya soon and stay safe, Silvia
