LES PRESENTO HUELLITAS SUNSOL [ESP/ENG]

Hola comunidad de hive, ¿Cómo se encuentran? ¿Todo cool? Espero que si, hoy fue un día ultra tranqui, pero hoy no les vine a hablarles de mi dia a día, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la nueva iniciativa de la empresa donde trabajo, aunque no inicia esta como se esperaba, al final lo importante es que actualmente se encuentran cumpliendo con esta visión y eso es bueno, hoy quiero hablarles de "Huellitas SunSol" consiste en una fundación que fue creada con el propósito de consientisar a los trabajadores ya que gracias a Dios los animalitos son considerados seres vivos con derechos, derechos que tal vez ellos desconocen pero sienten. Por obvias razones en la isla hay una sobrepoblación de perritos y gatitos, lo que es común en las comunidades más vulnerables, una de estas son las que vive cerca de las costas playeras de la isla de margarita, ejemplo el tirano, punta blanca-coche y Pedro González, allí es común y mucho de estos perritos y gatitos de comunidades cercanas llegaban, sabían las horas específicas de los alimentos y así, sin embargo no era un cuidado extremo, ya que tener mascotas en el hotel era un paralelo, hay personas que les gusta las mascotas o otros que no.

Hello, Hive community! How are you all doing? Everything cool? I hope so. Today was a super chill day, but I’m not here to talk about my day-to-day life today. Instead, I want to share with you the new initiative from the company where I work. Even though it didn’t start out as expected, what matters in the end is that they’re currently fulfilling this vision, and that’s a good thing. Today I want to tell you about “Huellitas SunSol,” a foundation created to raise awareness among workers—because, thank God, animals are considered living beings with rights, rights that they may not be aware of but still feel. For obvious reasons, there’s an overpopulation of dogs and cats on the island—a common issue in the most vulnerable communities. One such area is near the beaches of Margarita Island, such as El Tirano, Punta Blanca-Coche, and Pedro González. It was common for many of these dogs and cats from nearby communities to show up there; they knew the specific feeding times and would come accordingly. However, this wasn’t considered extreme care, since having pets at the hotel was a mixed bag—some people like pets, while others don’t.

Todo esto comenzó, cómo un dilema, pero nos apoyamos en fundaciones caninas con reales conocimientos en la materia, se realizaron muchas reuniones para saber cómo actuar, que está bien y que esta mal, como decirles a los huéspedes que ellos son parte del hotel, establecer métodos de esterilización para evitar la reproducción a temprana edad, y claro formularios de adopción a los que cualquier persona que quiera un amigo fiel pueda adoptar. Se hicieron espacios que son tan lindos, en los que dices la humanidad si esta cambiando, se caen, tropiezan, pero siempre siempre va a surgir algo positivo.

It all started as a dilemma, but we turned to dog welfare organizations with real expertise in the field. We held many meetings to figure out how to proceed—what’s right and what’s wrong—how to explain to guests that the dogs are part of the hotel, how to establish spaying and neutering protocols to prevent breeding at a young age, and, of course, how to create adoption forms so that anyone who wants a loyal friend can adopt one. We created spaces that are so beautiful—places where you realize that humanity is indeed changing. People may stumble and fall, but something positive will always, always emerge.
