Raya and the Last Dragon
The movie takes us into a land called Kumandra. In that land, every group lives in a separate land. The groups are divided by their cultures and also by the way they live.
Raya was a young warrior who was trained to protect the Dragon Gem. Her father believed that the different tribes could live together without any problem. Raya struggled to trust other people from other lands. When she started associating with Namaari, who was a warrior from another tribe, Raya started struggling, and things weren't right.
The Dragon Gem was broken, and the Druun turned many people into stone, including Raya's father. After six years, Raya was still searching for a way to bring back her father. Her search led her to Sisu, the last remaining dragon. Raya discovered that Sisu was not the one who defeated the Druun alone. Her brothers had created the Dragon Gem, and Sisu used its power.
So, Sisu and Raya travelled to different lands looking for the pieces of the Dragon Gem. Along the way, they met many people who became part of the journey. Raya begins to understand the importance of people and also how depending on other people can be helpful.
And as the journey continues, the journey becomes more dangerous when they encounter Namaari again. Raya's experience couldn't make her believe that she could trust Namaari again.
The action and every other thing in this movie were very exciting. Raya associating with Sisu and their connection was very impressive and made the movie more enjoyable. The movie also described how fear and past experiences in life can make people separate themselves from others, even when working together may be the only way forward.
The animation is very beautiful. The characters also bring different personalities to the story. Sisu adds humor to the movie, while Raya gives the serious emotional side. I also actually enjoyed the story, which teaches more about trust, unity, and also learning how to believe in other people IMDb
