Good deeds don't need a signature.

"Real generosity is doing something nice for someone who will never find out." — Frank A. Clark

The definition for charity has changed over the years. Making an anonymous donation is considered to be the highest form of charity within Indian culture and the tradition of philanthropy. However, now people seems looking for attention with their charity work. The various social media platforms are full of charity content. Content creator do the charity works intentionally to attracts more viewership and attention to their content. Sharing a charity post lets users signal their own kindness, empathy, or moral values to their online peers. I am not sure about the intention of these charities were but most of them do to derive monetory benefits. Today social media is all about making money. In my opinion, the purpose of charity should solely be to alleviate the suffering of others, not to seek praise.

Here for a change, not the credit.

A charity should be done in a manner to, ensure that the dignity (self-respect) of the person receiving help is not compromised. The best way is tobchoose an approach that does not make them feel indebted. Talking about charity work is good when it focuses on raising awareness for the cause rather than seeking personal praise. Social media these days is all about the second reason. Last few years, someone approached me to provide finanacial assistance. They were from my relation. Their offer sounds good to me but if I look beyond the help motive they wanted to publicise their act of goodness. This backfires me and I am not ready to accept their help. When charity is driven purely by self promotion, it can sometimes cross into exploiting the dignity of the people being helped. In my case, I do not wanted to be exploited or indebted with their. While people.may assume I am too harsh on myself by being rigid. But I have heard a lot about their kindness from other. They person who was offering me help had done similr to others but they advertise themselves in big way. I pointed out eaelier that charity should be done in a way, that nobody feel ashamed of it. Neither the donor nor the receipint.

A small act of support or kindness matters deeply, and its true value lies in the positive change it brings rather than the identity of the person who provided it. Acts done without an audience or a hashtag prioritize the recipient's dignity and the genuineness of the help. True generosity and hard work often happen quietly. When you offer help, support, or a kind gesture purely for the sake of doing good rather than chasing applause or public credit, the act carries a much purer weight.

In good faith - Peace!!

It is better if it is not an advertisement, but ultimately, if it is, it will help the needy

It's unfortunate the number of charities that get over looked because the people talking about them are clearly trying to bring glory to themselves instead of the actual thing they are supporting. "Look what I did!" etc...

Act of kindness down without an audience is the best way to help someone but now days that motive has been destroyed
