Hello to all the members of this community and fellow street art enthusiasts! After some time away, I’ve finally found a mural to share—and, as a bonus, I can enter it into the community’s weekly contest. The mural is located in the northern part of the city of Barquisimeto (Venezuela) and was created by Jost_painter. I’ve spotted some interesting street art in the north, but it’s often right in the middle of the road—making it impossible for me to photograph, as I don’t have a private vehicle.
Anyway, I was really glad that, while I was walking toward the transport area, I came across this mural. It’s a sort of tribute to baseball, which is one of the most important sports in the country. I love that the mural is located right next to a field—a spot that gets packed with players on the weekends (I think they even hold baseball lessons for kids there), despite the relentless sun, haha!
The phrases visible in the drawing read: "Dream, work hard, believe in yourself, and everything will be possible" and "We are more than just a team; we are an entire country playing together—Venezuela in every swing!"... I love motivational phrases like these, because if you’re observant enough to notice the mural, you won’t just see an amazing illustration—you might also find a phrase that truly touches your soul ✨

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes del arte callejero! Luego de un tiempo de ausencia, por fin he encontrado un mural para mostrar y adicional a ello, participar en el concurso semanal de la comunidad. El mural se encuentra en la zona Norta de la ciudad de Barquisimeto (Venezuela) y fue realizado por Jost_painter. He visto arte callejero interesante por el Norte, pero en medio de la vía, lo cual se me hace imposible fotografiar al no contar con un transporte privado.
Pero bueno, me alegré bastante de que, cuando me encontraba caminando en camino a la zona de transporte, me encontré con el mural. Es una especie de tributo al beisbol, siendo uno de los deportes más importantes en el país. Me encanta que el mural se encuentre justamente al lado de una cancha, la cual se llena de jugadores los fines de semana (creo que allí, dan clases de beisbol para niños también) a pesar del sol inclemente jaja.
Las frases que pueden apreciarse en el dibujo, dicen: "Sueña, trabaja, cree en ti y todo será posible" y "Somos más que un equipo, somos un país entero jugando juntos ¡Venezuela en cada swing!"... Adoro las frases motivacionales de este tipo, porque si eres lo suficientemente observador como para fijarte en el mural, no sólo verás una asombrosa ilustración, sino también es posible que alguna frase te llegue al alma ✨
