ENGLISH CONTENT

Hello to everyone in this community and to all fellow craft enthusiasts! A while back, I made some large scrunchies inspired by the series Digital Circus—specifically the characters Pomni and Gangle. However, they needed a more direct identifier, so I decided to paint some pieces of paper to attach to them, giving them a new look to showcase at the bazaars I attend.

In this way, I drew the character on a piece of paper, dividing it in half and marking the other part on the bottom of the reverse side of the paper, so that when folded, both parts would come together to hold the scrunchie. To outline it, I used a black, fine-tipped marker.

The rest was simply a matter of coloring the piece with markers and cutting around it to give it shape.

Finally, I wrapped it around the scrunchie and added a couple of staples on the sides. I think this makes the Pomni-inspired scrunchie much more eye-catching.

In the case of Gangle’s scrunchies—since I had two—I created two identifiers, each with a different facial expression.

After bringing the scrunchies to the most recent bazaar, I confirmed that creating these themed items was a great idea—they were very well-received by fans of the series! 😌 If you’d like to see more about my experience at the bazaar, or if you’re interested in learning how to make your own scrunchies, check out my posts below:

adding those little paper tags with the character expressions was such a smart way to make the scrunchies stand out at the bazaar. gangle having different faces is a fun touch too 🌺
