Hello everyone in this community! After a somewhat tiring night, I had planned to stay in bed all day watching some shows, but I ended up getting up to sit down and do my things. I was even more energized when I received some good news I'd been waiting for. It seems the next few days will be busier for me, and while I prepare for that, I'll continue with my posts. Today, I wanted to dedicate myself to writing my entry for the contest 😇
✨📸 If your camera roll could tell your life story, what would it reveal about you? Forget the carefully chosen Instagram photos for a moment. Think about the random pictures, screenshots, selfies, places, meals, people, and little everyday moments you have captured. What would someone learn about you just by scrolling through your camera roll?
If someone knew me through the photos on my camera, I think they'd assume I'm a creative person, and they'd be right. Looking through my phone's gallery, specifically the camera app, you'll find step-by-step photos of any sewing, craft, or drawing project I'm working on. I currently use these photos for my posts, but long before joining this platform, I documented my creations for myself. Instead of uploading them online, I'd transfer them from my analog camera to my computer and then save them to a CD or simply delete them over time. I'm so glad I now have someone to share this creative process with, and that it might even be useful.

On the other hand, they'd realize I love vegetables because I often take pictures of the meals I make. I haven't been very "creative" in the kitchen when it comes to desserts for a long time, but it's something I hope to improve. Also, whoever looked through my photos would know I'm a cat lover because I have so many pictures of my sister's cats. Perhaps they'd also notice that I don't consider myself photogenic because there are very few selfies, haha, although they'd also discover my fondness for taking pictures of solitary places.

In short, if someone were to get to know me through the unedited photos on my phone, I think they would realize that I'm a sensitive person who seeks to express how I see and feel each simple moment of my life through my creations... or at least, that's what I perceived haha ✨
💸💸 What is one “luxury” that you think is completely overrated? It could be anything people see as a symbol of a comfortable or successful life — like a designer handbag, a huge house, expensive holidays, fancy restaurants, or even something much simpler. What’s something you wouldn’t spend your money on, even if you could afford it? And why? 💸💸
I'm thinking mostly about the impulsive purchases people often make because of trends. For example, fast-food chain collaborations with cartoons, video games, or TV shows. I mean, I was one of the lucky kids whose parents took me when there was a collaboration I liked... but they didn't buy the whole collection, they just tried to get the character I liked, if it was available. If I ended up with the others, it was because of gifts from family members, but it wasn't a "need" to acquire them.

Now that I see these collaborations or products that come out as a way to awaken our "nostalgia," I wonder if it's really necessary to get the whole collection or if we're just letting ourselves be carried away by consumerism. I like to buy something because it catches my eye or because I genuinely think it's beautiful (in the case of objects or figurines that have no use other than decoration), but I try not to make a purchase just because it's "popular." Because then, hundreds of posts appear, trying to sell that same object that months ago they wanted "with all their heart"... I find it hard to believe that attachment lasts so little time, when I have toys or things from years ago that I find hard to let go of 😅

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad! Tras una noche algo agotadora, había pensado en quedarme todo el día acostada en la cama viendo algunas series, más acabé por terminar de levantarme para sentarme a hacer mis cosas y más me animé cuando recibí una buena noticia que estaba esperando. Parece que los próximos días serán más movidos para mí y mientras me preparo para eso, continuaré con mis publicaciones y hoy, quería dedicarme a escribir mi participación para el concurso 😇
✨📸 Si el carrete de tu cámara pudiera contar la historia de tu vida, ¿Qué revelaría sobre ti? Olvídate por un momento de las fotos de Instagram cuidadosamente elegidas. Piensa en las imágenes aleatorias, capturas de pantalla, selfies, lugares, comidas, personas y pequeños momentos cotidianos que has capturado. ¿Qué aprendería alguien sobre ti con solo desplazarse por el carrete de tu cámara? ✨📸
Si alguien me conociera a través de las fotografías que tengo en mi cámara, pienso que opinaría que soy una persona que ama crear y tiene razón. Al revisar la galería de mi teléfono, más específicamente, la de la cámara, hallarás el paso a paso de algún proyecto de costura, manualidad o dibujo que esté realizando. Actualmente, utilizo esas fotografías para mis publicaciones, pero mucho antes de ingresar en la plataforma, tomaba el registro de mis creaciones para mí. Aunque, en lugar de subirlo a la red, lo pasaba desde mi cámara analógica a mi computadora y luego, guardaba esas fotografías en algún CD o simplemente, las borraba con el tiempo. Me alegro de poder tener ahora con quién compartir ese proceso de creación y que de paso, exista la posibilidad de que sea útil.

Por otro lado, se darían cuenta de que amo los vegetales, porque suelo tomarle fotos a las comidas que hago. No soy tan "creativa" en la cocina en cuanto a postres se refiere desde hace mucho tiempo, pero es algo que espero mejorar. También, esa persona que revisase mis fotografías, sabría que soy un amante de los gatos, porque tengo demasiadas fotos de los gatos de mi hermana. Quizás, se daría cuenta también de que no me considero fotogénica, porque las selfies que hay, son muy contadas jaja aunque también descubriría mi afición por tomar fotografías de espacios solitarios.

En resumen, si alguien tuviera que conocerme a través de las fotos sin editar que tengo en mi teléfono, creo que se daría cuenta de que soy una persona sensible que busca expresar el modo en que ve y siente cada momento simple de su vida, a través de sus creaciones... o al menos, es lo que yo percibí jaja ✨
💸💸 ¿Cuál es un “lujo” que cree que está completamente sobrevalorado? Podría ser cualquier cosa que la gente vea como un símbolo de una vida cómoda o exitosa, como un bolso de diseñador, una casa enorme, unas vacaciones costosas, restaurantes elegantes o incluso algo mucho más simple. ¿En qué no gastarías tu dinero, incluso si pudieras permitírtelo? ¿Y por qué? 💸💸
Pienso más que nada en las compras compulsivas que suelen realizarse por moda. Por ejemplo, las colaboraciones de las tiendas de comida rápida con alguna caricatura, videojuego o serie. Digo, yo fui de las niñas afortunadas que mis padres llevaban cuando había una colaboración que me gustaba... pero no compraban toda la colección, solamente trataba de obtener el personaje que me gustaba, si estaba disponible. Si llegaba a tener los otros, era por obsequios de familiares, pero no era una "necesidad" de adquisición.

Ahora que veo esas colaboraciones o productos que salen como una forma de despertar nuestra "nostalgia", me pregunto si realmente es necesario obtener toda la colección o simplemente, nos dejamos llevar por el consumismo. Me gusta comprar algo porque me llama la atención o de verdad, me parece lindo (en el caso de objetos o figuras que no tengan una utilidad más que de decoración), pero trato de no dejarme llevar por realizar dicha compra porque es "popular". Porque luego, aparecen cientos de publicaciones, buscando de vender ese mismo objeto que meses atrás, querían "con toda el alma"... me cuesta pensar que tan poco tiempo dura el apego, cuando yo tengo juguetes o cosas de hace años que me cuesta dejar atrás 😅
