On March 3rd, my Puphoo( Auntie) invited us to an Iftar buffet in Hafizabad.I didn't know anything about buffets until I went to university. It was only after starting university that I discovered what a buffet is and realized how much food is presented there. It is often more than one can actually eat.
There was so much to eat from traditional Saag dish to rice pudding and many types of desserts. These all things were appealing to the eyes. Though the stomach felt full, my eyes were greedy.
You know, wherever children are around you, they are always busy into playing and running around and love teasing and joking with one another. At that age, they rarely pay much attention to their diet/food. That is exactly what was happening here. All the children were busy playing here and there, and snacking in the middle of everything. I had finished my portion of the day, and i was roaming around along with these kids, smiling and filming their moments.
The buffet iftar party happened in a wedding hall, and among the chandeliers, which were very appealing, this particular one was pervasive ( a new word that i learned recently lol).
It hasn't been that many months since March (now it's September), but I have gained so much weight during this time. When I look at my old photos, I feel like a teenager, however, seeing myself in real life now, I look like a grown man. I will surely have to adopt some strategies or start a workout routine to lose this weight. Though, i am already on workout routine but this need to be a stricter one.
We have rarely taken group photos with our family, partly because of the age differences and the generational gaps between us ( it's sort of common practice around) . However, I was delighted when my aunt suggested we take group photos on this occasion. We took a lot of photos, in which we were all smiling, saying cheese and laughing and really enjoyed those moments and these are the moments that become loving memories.
