During my degree program, I used to meet my friends daily( back in those days, it often seemed boring) but now i miss those days. However, since finishing my studies, I hadn't been able to see them with the same regularity. About six months had passed, and I had remained in touch with them only whatsapp. A friend was planning to visit Lahore, specifically for his sister's birthday, and asked my availability. I decided to go, thinking the trip might shift my mood that is crazy due to seeing the home walls.
Both of us had cold coffee in Fasana cafe of Readings. There were so many books to read. I picked up a random book of Kamila Shamie (Oh, I forgot the name) and Anita picked a book related to economics. It was as if we were scanning books.
It was as like there was not a single day of disappearance. She wanted to buy a bouquet for her sister's birthday. We walked towards floral market.

The price of the flower bouquets was extremely high. At first, I wasn't in favor of buying them.I even joked that it would be better to just give the cash instead. But she insisted, saying it is a gift that simply has to be given, so I finally agreed and said, "Alright, go ahead and buy the flower bouquets."
But the surprising thing was that none of these flowers had any fragrance. And when flowers lack fragrance you don't really get the feeling of being in a garden of real flowers. It feels more like a garden made of plastic.
Many of the flowers were of a kind I had likely never seen before.Lilies and roses are the ones I was most familiar and perhaps I preferred them as well. As for the other flowers, they had colors I had never even seen before. Today was the first time I was seeing them.
We bought a bouquet for four thousand rupees and then went our ways. Anita booked a ride to her sister's birthday celebration and I made my way back home.
See you next 💌💫💌💫
