Sublime and Beautiful Sunday A few nice sunrises
This post is for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.
MY favorite time of day for getting out for photo walks, as those that have followed me for a while probably know all to well, is early morning, heading out to catch the blue and golden hours around sunrise. It is generally so peaceful and quiet then, nd for me the best way to start the day.
So today I will share a few sunrise photos from semi-recent walks I have taken, all by the water, which is again where I find walks the most calming and relaxing for me.
I have shared and talked about the Hurricane Barrier walls here in New Bedford many times, and the fact that there is a gate that can be closed when storms come in to protect the city and harbor from the worst of the storms. But not sure if I have shared a photo of this point on the wall, this is at the ned of the New Bedford side of one portion of the Hurricane Barrier Wall, and it shows the building where the workers control the opening and closing of the gate.
Now, as I understand it for most of the year the gate is left open so boats can pass in and out and it it is only closed when a severe storm comes in

And peaking of boats here are some of the commercial fishing boats, one morning back n=by a nice colorful sunrise.

Now I do like mixing up my walks to different spots, so my feed doesn't get too boring, but my personal favorite spot to catch a sunrise is with it rising across the water, such as this view from on top of the Hurricane barrier wall.

Seems for the most part the photos I picked for today's post are on or talking about the Hurricane barrier wall, this is on the Harbor Walk, built on top of a portion of the Hurricane barrier wall

The exceptions are the couple of photos taken at the port, got some nice reflections this morning
