Thursday A few cool shops around the city of New Bedford MA

A few cool shops around the city

Good Morning and Have a great day

I know I have bene sharing a lot of the historic buildings of recent, so trying to mix it up a bit, and I had the idea that when I walk around the city I often see shops that catch my eye, so I thought thats what I would share today.

Funny thing is, of these shops, I have only been in, all these photos were taken while they were closed inthe early morning.

I also say from time to time that I like my early morning walks, as most people are still sleeping and it is so peaceful and quiet, but I didn't think about those who are working at that time. I regularly see POlice when out and about on my walks, and of course along with them are the other first responders: firefighters and EMT's

And why do I think of that now, you may wonder? Well, the other day, I walked past The Baker here in New Bedford, and sure, the shop wasn't open yet; however, I did see a couple of bakers working in there.

And that led possibly to me doing this post.

And this next one I specifically walked by to get this photo, as it is the only one I have been into, a year or so ago, when we were looking for a gift for our son. They have such a wide variety of cool toys and figurines there, including dragons, which is what we were looking for.

This is the play arcade, looking in they have tons of arcade games, and a deck upstairs, which I just go in when it's open and check out the view from there.

This shop is Moby Dick Nauticals, and one I do want to check out, seeing all the cool nautical-themed stuff they have.

And looking in one of the windows, I didn't like it full color, but just keeping the blues and reds I did

and another shop, which I think from the sign is the Bedford Merchant

I can smell that bakery from here! :) Although it was early, I bet they were well into their day prepping for the morning rush!
