There is a saying that a walking man will surely meet his own luck so long as he continues to move and he continues to strive. So walking in this contest does not just mean a man alone, and it does not really mean that you must be walking around every time because you want to meet your own luck. In a simple context, what this means is that for every human on the surface of the Earth, we all need to keep on striving every day and putting in our best to everything we do even if it means to just keep doing it and you're not getting the results yet.
I decided to write this post to share a motivation this morning, but I am not a motivational speaker. Actually, there is a friend of mine that got a job and got their first payment last night, and the pay is so huge. His salary is €740, and converting that to Nigerian currency, it is quite a lot of money. That is closely 1 million plus just for a start. Most people have already given up that things cannot work out for them because of the way people get rejection from jobs, which is quite alarming.
Well, I understand the fact that it is not easy to secure a job, but at the same time it is not good to just give up because you never can tell when your own luck will come. Peradventure it might be fast or slow or might even do that you have given up when your own result will show up. Things like this happen, and when we see a good result from the struggles people have been doing, we now get motivated to do ours. When we saw the proof of payment for this job, it motivated everyone that saw it, and most people went back to where they left their job search and started asking questions about what to do next, while most people forgot that they might have also gotten an opportunity if they had not given up so fast.
The same thing happened to me yesterday, but in my own case it was not a big payment, and it was not like a secured job, but I got an interview to do a quiz or an assessment for a job. This job came because I was not hoping to get any, and I never planned for anyone. I was just checking through my mail, and I saw the link to get the assessment done, and after the assessment, then I will proceed with a real job. So now the question is if I had left everything undone, would I have been able to get that chance? And also I know things work by grace and luck and not by how far or how well. But the bone of contention still remains that no matter the struggle, we must continue to strive hard because definitely our luck will surely come one day. A moving vehicle will surely get to its destination even if it meets some hurdles or challenges on its way. We must always remember that we are the source of motivation to some people behind us, and they want to see us win no matter what. Stay motivated and don't give up.
