Die neue Crypto Space Version ist online mit sehr vielen Bug Fixes und Quality of Life-Verbesserungen.
Die App wechselt jetzt extrem schnell zwischen Posts und dem Feed und merkt sich auch die Lese-Position im Feed und über mehrere Posts hinweg. Ähnlich wie auf X.
Auch Notifications und die Wallet wurden stark verbessert. Und es gibt eine kleine Animation, wenn man seine Rewards claimt.
Auch das Veröffentlichen von Posts funktioniert jetzt ohne Fehlermeldung, davor hat die App nicht auf die Bestätigung der tx gewartet, den Post aber veröffentlicht.
Diese Version enthält jetzt auch das Satoshi-Avatar-Update für anoynme User auf der Profilseite.
Und auch an der Content Moderation-Front habe ich gearbeitet. Gemuteter Content wird jetzt ähnlich wie auf den anderen Plattformen mit einem Hinweis ausgeblendet und einem Link, den Content wieder einzublenden. Und es gibt Unterstüztung für eine interne Blacklist und ein God-Flag diese abzuschalten.
Auch das Design habe ich upgedatet und für Touch und Mobile optimiert. Habe jetzt den Blauton aus dem Hintergrund entfernt und auch die Trennlinien entfernt bzw. gemutet.
Es gibt aber noch viel zu tun, postet Feedback, Feature Requests und gröbere Bugs in den Kommentaren.
Die App ist übrigens auch deswegen so super schnell, da die Hive API Server extrem schnell geworden sind. Das ist mir jetzt beim Entwickeln der App erst richtig aufgefallen. Das ist auch ein USP von hive verglichen mit anderen dezentralen Netzen wir nostr, wo das Laden des Feeds teilweise mehrere Sekunden in Anspruch nimmt.

The new version of Crypto Space is now live, featuring a large number of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
The app now switches extremely fast between posts and the feed, and it also remembers your reading position in the feed and across multiple posts, similar to how it works on X.
Notifications and the wallet have also been significantly improved. And there’s a small animation when you claim your rewards.
Posting now works without error messages; previously, the app would publish the post without waiting for the transaction to be confirmed.
This version also includes the Satoshi avatar update for anonymous users on the profile page.
I’ve also been working on content moderation. Muted content is now hidden with a notice—similar to other platforms—and a link to unhide it. There’s also support for an internal blacklist and a “God flag” to disable it.
I’ve also updated the design and optimized it for touch and mobile. I’ve now removed the blue tint from the background and also removed or muted the divider lines.
But there’s still a lot to do, please post feedback, feature requests, and major bugs in the comments.
By the way, one reason the app is so fast is that the Hive API servers have become extremely fast. I only really noticed this while developing the app. This is also a unique selling point (USP) of hive compared to other decentralized networks like nostr, where loading the feed can sometimes take several seconds.
